You need this adapter to mount the Safety Steer Shock Absorber based on you GVW. This one is for 22K chassis. Worked perfect. You will need a heavy duty impact with 1-1/8” impact socket to mount this. Also you need a 300 ft/lb torque wrench. Safety Steer works great!

This kit was perfect for installing steering stabilizer (installed Roadmaster RSSA Reflex Stabilizer). Biggest challenge was removing existing U bracket bolts. The rest, just follow instructions, and all was easy to assemble, although I wish I had extra pair of hands to hold up stabilizer during final assembly. This was best priced kit at a time on the market.

I had been skeptical of how much improvement there would be. We have a Winnebago diesel pusher on a Freightliner chassis with 340 HP ENGINE. Previously we had upgraded the shocks to blistering and noticed quite a difference in ride smoothness. After experiencing quite a bit of side to side ride movement on some winding roads this summer I was willing to try the roadmaster steering stabilizer. This required the use of the specific mounting hardware for installation. The accompanying instructions and photos were good. It took about an hour to install the brackets and stabilizer. The subsequent ride was much improved with less work at the steering wheel. With cross winds previously there was noticeable side motion. Not enough to be a danger but adding to the driver fatigue. With the mounts and stabilizer, there was only a slight amount of increase in driver work to maintain the vehicle in the lane. Our coach has over 45,000 miles on it and looking back I wish I had made this upgrade 4 years ago when the coach was new!

This is the mounting brackets set required to install the Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer. The instructions are fairly straightforward and clear, a few more pictures or diagrams would help but once you are under your vehicle it is pretty obvious.

Not much to write about here. This kit is used to install the RSSA steering stabilizer and works as intended. Only 4 stars because Roadmaster installation instructions are pretty bad. The like to use photos to illustrate which seems like a great idea. Unfortunately the photos do not reproduce well and often times are not taken from an angle which would best illustrate the particular installation step. They need someone to make drawings to augment the photos and better tech writers.
