I decided to get a carbon fiber bottle cage after a plastic one I had been using snapped when I hit a bump in the road and dropped my water bottle under my wheel. I snagged a good deal on this cage and picked it up for less than eight bucks. So far, it has worked fine. Note that the one I got is different from what they show here. Mine wasn't a left or right opening but had wings on either side. I can see why they changed that design- installation was a little tough as it didn't leave enough room for getting a torque wrench through the cage to tighten the bolts. Even getting an allen wrench in was a little difficult. The new designs shown now have one side open to make this much, much easier.

Broke on the first trail ride. Never broke a water battle cage before. I use standard size bike bottles, did not impress me.

I’ve ridden a 49 mile mountain bike race and multiple single track sessions now with this cage. Works great. Holds the bottle tight, but easy to get out for a drink too. Super lightweight.

J’ai due commander 3 fois le même produit car ils ne sont pas tous de la même forme. Certains serres trop la bouteille et d’autre pas assez. Merci à Amazon pour le retour facile.Ceci dit, ils sont légé et en carbone….Ha oui, et à ma première ride, une bouteille est tombée, mais j’ai quand même dessendu une chaîne de trottoir à 45 kilomètres heure…Sommes toutes, malgré les problématiques, j’aime le fait de pouvoir prendre les bouteilles sur le côté car celle-ci sont installés à l’arrière du vélo (donc dans le dos).Bref, je l’es aimes, mais 3 étoiles sont suffisantes.

I ordered the ROADNADO Carbon Bottle Cages Ultralight Bike Water Bottle Cages Drink Holder MTB Road Bike Left Opening & Right Opening Bottle Cupholder for Cycling Road Bikes Mountain Bikes (2PCS).I ordered the left/right loading set for mountain bike to replace some aluminum, traditional (i.e., center load). I ordered the left/right since that is what you need if you want to access both the seat tube mounted bottle and the down tube mounted bottle from the same side of the bike.These cages came with a set of screws, washers, and a hex wrench in a small bag inside the bag for each. cage.I found that using the washers is a must because the mounting holes are a much bigger diameter than the threaded region of the bolts. If you don't using the washers, your mounting bolts could slip through the holes during a rides or, at a minimum, tear up the edges of the mounting holes on the cages.The recessed area along the mounting edge of each of the cages is shallow. I was not able to use the black cage mounting bolts that came with my Trek Supercaliber mountain bike with these cages. The Trek bolts worked fine with my aluminum cages but the heads of the bolts were too tall in the cages to allow the water bottles to load smoothly. So, I used the silver pan-head bolts that Roadnado provided with cages (no big deal and I'm glad they provided the bolts).My first ordered had a poorly made cage (the whole thing was warped askew) and the bottle did not seat properly and was loose. It would have been easily launched from the bike during a bumpy ride. My replacement was perfect. All manufacturing has an occasional mistake.These are very light and I'm pretty positive these are carbon fiber because of the minor differences between the pieces that you wouldn't get with machine formed plastic with a carbon coating.I'll post some photos that I have on my phone (not the PC I'm on now) of the mounting screws, the cages, and the weight, soon.Overall, 5 stars from me.

Being the organizer and leader of a large social bicycle club here in Fort Lauderdale with over 1650 members and growing daily, the safety, health and well-being of our riders is always priority one. The same goes for our mounts as well. It is discussed before every slow roll. And one thing all my members know about me is that I love customization and personalization. And if it serves both safety and customization then roll on I say! My local bike shop Cycling Forza could tell you how much they make from our patronage. And not just for technical stuff but for lots of other fun stuff as well, gadgets, toys and accessories are always welcome. I like to gift away some small safety item to our new members at the beginning of each slow roll, most often it will be a safety whistle to wear while riding. Sometimes the gifting goes to another level. It might be a lighting kit, a set of pedals or grips, locking kits, occasionally even a pair of gloves or a helmet. I encourage my members to keep their mounts very well maintained in order to not get left behind (in reality we would never let anyone get left behind). Anything that keeps you out of danger and improves the experience of riding is for us. This ROADNADO Carbon Fiber Water Bottle Holder is an accessory that weighs nearly nothing. Most often something this small will not make a difference when it comes to total weights. This water bottle holder can be bought in a set of two as well. Either way they are great looking and can certainly do the job. Choose right or left handed access. That is fairly rare in the marketplace. And while they say carbon fiber I must report a crack, albeit a small one, after use. Maybe my bottles are too big? Not sure but they still work. We'll see how long they last. Took a gamble on this non name brand item and it was great. Tight against the bottle and even through mountain biking 15 miles on single diamond technical trail, held the bottle. Good product.

This is amazing product. I just ordered second one after receiving the the first one today. I didn't ordered two in the fist place because I wanted to see the quality first. So this great buy for me. Also the bottle as well. Holds the bottle very nicely. It's easy to remove it and put it back. I strongly recommend this product!
