I got this so I could have an extra filter for my Roborock S8 Pro Ultra. This way I won't have to wash out the filter by hand anymore, I can just switch it and stick the previous one in the dishwasher and let it wash it... then later on, switch them back. These replacement parts are a little different to the original, instead of a fine mesh screen, it has small, perforated holes, but judging by the stuff that was under the original screen, I don't think that makes any difference at all. It fit perfectly and the base station acknowledged there was a filter installed, and it works just fine.

Ordered just in case my S8 MaxV Ultra ever needs this.Here's the thing though - while it fits my base station, the price is a bit steep IMO for what's essentially a piece of plastic with some mesh & a float. But I guess that's the cost of having a flag ship fancy robot vacuum! The ABS material feels a little flimsy compared to the OEM one.This one fell apart in my hands when I opened it. After carefully reassembling it it just doesn't seem as durable as OEM which has never just fallen apart to date.
