Works pretty well. Bike ride mileage always shows more than the ride. A 30 mile ride shows 34 miles.

My Garmin broke and I was not about to spend another $300 or so. I decided on this gps as it had all the features of my Garmin. One thing that I really liked about this gps is that it connected to all my Garmin accessories like heat rate and cadence monitor. The satellite connection is even better than Garmin as it connected right away when turning it on. I’m only giving giving it 4 stars because shady satellites connecting when it’s under a tree or building. Also because the gps speed is off by 1-2 mph.

Well, what have we got here!?I just recently bought a mechanical speedometer for my e-trike project but it never worked properly. The gear didn't cog well with the front hub and the cable broke before I could even test the odometer and the gauge needle didn't move a millimeter! I tried to replace the cable with a new one but it didn't fit the gear threading and a piece of the gear fell off and got lost in the dirt! I tried to use a new wheel gear that fit the new cable but this time it was too big for the front bike wheel hubI finally said,"To hell with it!" and bought this wireless GPS speedometer to make up for all that trouble the prior mechanical speedometer caused.After I opened the box and charged up a little when I turned it on my jaw dropped to the floor!It displayed the local time and temperature almost immediately! When I mounted it on the trike the speed reading gave me a little spectacle and so I adjusted the speed reading from kilometers per hour to miles per hour and the temperature reading to Fahrenheit. I then adjusted the circumference of the tire. It took a bit of getting used to input the adjustment in readings but it was now all set!Accuracy? Perfect right out of the box! At kess than $50 the value for money is undeniable.However the ease of installation is a little bit primitive and mounting on the handle bar requires a different mounting piece of gear because those currently available don't fit the handle bar. I use the supplied provisional rubber bands while I find a suitable mounting piece for the rather narrow handle bar.
