After reading hundreds of bike light reviews, I saw something with this RockBros bike light, and I nailed it! It's as bright as I hoped for, it's flat and the right shape to still fit comfortably in my pocket, it has twice the battery power of a previous RockBros light that owned, and liked but recently lost. I purchased this one to replace it, and it's everything I was looking for in a bike light. It's well worth the money! It's a real find, people apparently haven't found this bike light yet.

The Pros:This light is good value, when measured by "brightness per dollar spent" - also has reasonable controls for levels, and I appreciate the side marker lights for additional visibility.The No's:As much as I like this light, the cons are significant. The beam forming is more by accident than design. The LEDs reflect lines from the corners and edges, making super-bright "lines" on surrounding pavement, vehicles, etc.I did like the mount, and while I cannot attest to its durability, it worked well, and was trouble free.Unfortunately the light fell short of my needs, and I returned it. With a bit of focused design work this could be a great light for most cyclists.

I really wanted to use this light. Seems super bright and handy. Too bad it won't mount without flopping around. Hopefully you don't have the same issue.

Compared to my previous bike light (Specialized Flux 1200) this light is amazing. Incredible battery life at a fraction of the cost. It's been in the rain and heat and no issue to speak of. The metal GoPro mount is solid. Brighter than you need, so you can run it on lower settings for longer ride times.

I have tried 2 different lights for early morning rides and this was the second one. I was hopeful that this one would work well but just like the first one (different kind and brand) would work. It worked for my first 2 rides. Both were about 50% in the second power mode and 50% flashing. I was pleased that the battery had not totally discharged by the end of the second ride (about 6 hours of run time). I tried to charge the light and it would not hold a charge. I sent it back to Amazon for a full refund.

Pros:Ok light with a lot of run time.Cons:Overly complicated, small buttons, no tactile feel thru gloves.The light arrived locked and I couldn't get it to turn on until I read a review here. The instructions made no mention. The other reviewer was questioning why you would have such a ridiculous feature. The answer is: For shipping. You can't have this light turn on during shipping. It gets extremely hot and will catch fire in the box. Which brings me to the next ridiculous feature, to turn on you have to hold the button down for a few seconds. Again, to avoid accidental turn on during shipping? The buttons are small and provide no tactile feel thru gloves. If you are riding and need to turn on the light, its next to impossible to determine if you a pressing down the small button. The only way you know for sure is when nothing happens after a few seconds of pressing what you think should be the button. Charging is also silly. Sometimes when you plug it in it charges as expected and begins throbbing red. Other times, it turns solid green or blue and you need to unplug it, let it sit for a few minutes and then try again. In all, not a very well thought out design. ROCKBROS usually has good stuff, but in this case they need to try again.
