Bought for some stray cats so they have a place to stay. Good quality, I’ve had it for several months now. Cats seem to like it.

I keep seeing reviews lamenting the fact that there is a gap in between the walls and roof. You either put your walls on backwards or on the wrong sides. Ours looks fine, no gaps. We hope the neighborhood feral cat, who likes our porch, will use this in cold weather. Our goal is to keep her from freezing to death. To reach that goal, we will need to insulate this cute little cat cottage, first with styrofoam sheeting. Then not sure if we’ll use straw or a heating pad. Fingers crossed that a raccoon, possum or skunk doesn’t claim it before she does. Would I buy this again? Yes!

This is the Best small Cat house I own. The price is right and of good quality! It was super easy and fast to assemble. This will be used for a stray cat that visits us most every day looking for food and kind words. The blueprint for this little house is perfect. Good Job! Thank you!!!

I think this shelter may last a couple years. It’s made of very thin wood. You won’t be able to fit the bottom in unless you leave the back off to get it in place. Then secure the back. There is a small gap in the back for ventilation. The roof may leak in the back since it doesn’t overhang on that side. It’s a good size but cheaply made. There is a sort of roofing type of application to the top but then there is wood trim that wasn’t covered. I put mine under a tree as I don’t trust that it’s too weatherproof.I lined up the hinge where it was supposed to go and the lid wouldn’t close. There are little circles on the inside so you know where to place it. I removed it and used two eye screws and some ribbon.It doesn’t look like it will provide any warmth. It’s only a wind barrier. I got some of the reflective adhesive sheet like I used on the side of my fridge next to the stove and lined the inside. Be careful not to block that ventilation hole. We will see if anyone takes us residence. For anyone that thinks it smells, it smells like a Christmas tree. It’s fir wood. It doesn’t smell chemically.I chose this over using a plastic tub with straw and another plastic tub because it looks better in the yard. I got the red one because we have a red shed. If I had more money, I’d have gone for an insulated house.

Easy to assemble, high quality and perfect shelter for my outside kitties. Blue siding matches our house so the house doesn’t look out of place on our porch at all.

The size is perfect for cats or other small animals. It has a good roof to protect from weather. Insulation of the house is not ideal as the wood is thin. The door opens easily and the roof also opens up! It is so cute and it is also sturdy enough to hold up through harsh weather.

This cat house is awesome! So sturdy and beautiful. Took me about 30mins to build. Simple instructions and easy to assemble. All you need are a few tools. I used a hammer for the latch on the roof, but other than that, easy peasy! Highly recommend even if you aren’t handy, you can do it! It’s bigger than I thought. My outdoor cat is quite big, but he has tons of room to stretch out. Oh and it’s waterproof too! The value is priceless, keeping our strays comfy through all seasons.
