Factory radios on 2014 and newer Harley-Davidson audio systems use a 'high fidelity" EQ curve. Be sure to have an authorized Rockford Fosgate dealer flash your factory radio (to remove this EQ) before proceeding with installation. Failure to complete this process could result in damage to your speakers.

Fairing Speakers
- The TMS65 is a pair of 6.5” 4-Ohm full range coaxial speakers with power handling of 75 Watts RMS/150 Watts MAX
- Designed as a direct fit replacement for the fairing speaker locations using the factory mounting hardware and speaker connectors
- High output midrange specifically built to overcome wind, exhaust, and road noise up to 75 MPH
- Features an ultra-efficient 25mm dome tweeter delivering high output for clear, crisp highs
- Low profile design ensures proper speaker clearance and includes new grille assemblies
Amplifier
- The Power Marine TM400X4ad is a compact 4-channel amplifier with 400 watts of RMS power, built on our proprietary Class-AD technology with Constant Power
- This power house features 2-channels for the fairing speakers with 2 channels reserved for the optional addition of Tour-Pak or saddlebag speakers at a later time
- Top mounted controls, Dual fan cooled, 2/4 channel input switch, and C.L.E.A.N. input/output clip detection and indicator LEDs
Installation Kit
- The RFK-HD14 amplifier installation kit includes an external heat-sink, mounting brackets, speaker and power wiring with all the necessary hardware

The kit performs great! Install was not that difficult and there are many videos out there to help. Custom Sounds is a great store. I was amazed by their customer service. Mike was always available by phone or text, even late in the evening, to help with my questions! They even sent me the Gen3 kit! Very happy with my experience!

Overall, louder and better sound than stock. And granted, only 2 speakers pumping sound. But for the cost of the kit + installation at the dealer, not to mention the ratings…do not think the cost/value is there.These kits are 5 Star everywhere I look. I expected the change to really impress me, but I’m not impressed at all. I’m actually disappointed. I’m not some super sensitive audio guy. I simply appreciate good sound. And with the ratings I’ve seen, I expected to be “wowed” and I am not ! Not in the least.That being said, I figured ok, something must not be set correctly. It can’t be this highly rated with this result.I contacted Rockford (2x) stating the same I’m writing here, not any help other than a reply supporting the sound design is to combat wind, road noise, etc etc. nah, I’ve heard kits sound way better. This is not a flash issue, that’s been confirmed. It’s purely the fact that the crispness, and lack of bass are just disappointing for a nearly $1500 upgrade.Maybe I should have researched more and not relied on the rating so much, that’s on me. But for a kit that is so well known, I’m super disappointed.I’ll keep looking for a solution to the adjustments, if there is one, and update here should I find it. There is an app that is supposed to connect Bluetooth to the Rockford amp and allow more adjusting in the EQ. But I have yet to figure it out, not even sure mine came with the dongle that does that.For referenceThis was installed by a HD dealer on a 2021 Street Glide standard. Just as above, stage 2 kit. The install was a fun project and well worth the wait. The instructions aren't very useful but there are plenty of YouTube videos out there that explain it almost entirely step by step. I installed this on a 2018 Roadglide and can hear music at 80 mph with no issues. It is more treble and miss than bass, but I am completely happy with the 2 front speaker and amp install.

Absolutely pleased with this system. While the price is a little high everything was worth the money. It is Rockford Fosgate after all. Sounds incredible Speakers look great and install was pretty simple. Everything fit perfect. All connectors were right on. One minor complaint is the instructions were very vague so pay close attention to what you are doing. Don't forget to have the stock radio flashed because if not it will damage the speakers. Harley set the Eq very high to get better sound of the stock cheap speakers and it will not work with this high powered system. Very highly recommended.
