The Ranger Stage-6 for Ride Command is equipped with our audio interface that allows your factory equipped Ride Command to function as your source unit. This ultimate audio system includes M2 Color Optix 6.5” front & rear speakers, 10” subwoofer, all powered by the 1500-watt amp and lighted with LED brilliance!
This is the easiest SXS kit to install, with even higher performance, all to ensure an epic off-road audio experience. Designed and engineered to match and compliment the factory fit and finish of your Ranger. These components are purpose built to exact specifications, to ensure precise fitment and a custom-built look.
All components of the audio system are Element Ready, built to stand up to water, dirt, mud and UV, making sure all your audio components perform regardless of the conditions.

Ride Command Interface Adapter
- The RFPOL-RC5 audio interface adapter allows your factory equipped Ride Command to function as your audio source. The three-part plug and play harness taps both front, rear and subwoofer audio signals from Ride Command, and feeds them to the Rockford Fosgate amp for a powerful audio performance
Color Optix Front & Rear Speakers
- Two pairs of our M2-65B 6.5" Color Optix M2 series marine grade full-range speakers with two grille options, a pair for the front lower & a pair for the rear upper positions
- The texture and color matched RNGR18-FSE front lower & the RNGR18-RSE rear upper speaker pod enclosures (A Polaris Ranger Poly Roof equipped with/without the Premium Roof Liner is required for installation of the rear speakers)
Color Optix Subwoofer
- Bring on the bass with our 10” M2D4-10IB Color Optix M2 series DVC subwoofer with two grille options
- Integrated under the seat with the RNGR18-FWE direct fit ported sub enclosure

I am a former MECP Master Installer. This system is well thought out. Wiring harnesses are the perfect length. Comes with all hardware, including a GPS antenna relocation bracket, and to my surprise, even a hole saw for the rubber grommets. The harness is pre-wired for a second 10” sub if you have a crew cab, which brings the sub channel down to 1-ohm. The system is pre-tunes by RF right out of the box. Rockford Fosgate did a fantastic job with R&D for this kit. Install was about 3 hours for my Ranger Crew Northstar Ultimate. The only down side is that you are paying the price for their R&D, but it is worth it!

In January 2024, I purchased the Rockford Fosgate STG6 for my 2023 Polaris Ranger. I did notice on the boxes that the factory assembled this in 2022. So, it’s been on a shelf for a couple of years. The biggest issue I have it that this system will not fade from front to rear. Rockford Fosgate sends them out from the factory to only fade from right to left. This has proven to be quite annoying because my Ranger is a 2 door and the rear speaker is next to my head. If your Polaris Ranger, RZR, or other model came with a factory Ride Command stereo and you are wanting to upgrade, just be aware that you cannot fade the system toward the front or rear. For the cost of this system, Rockford Fosgate should have addressed and fixed it. Also, when the kit arrived, it was missing the Sub Trim Ring. I'm not sure if it was by design, the front left and right speakers were mislabeled at the plug in point for the amp. So I had a mix on the front and rear left and right as well. As far as the sound quality goes, the STG6 is exceptional. The Ranger edition ported subwoofer does a great job and the overall sound quality is great. I’ve ordered extra adapters and I’m trying to get this system to work correctly. It’s a shame that a product with such fantastic potential does such a poor job of interfacing with the Polaris Factory system.

Drop 3k on a system and the pieces needed to start the install are nowhere in the package. Along with being 3 days late, now I cannot install without the missing parts. We will see how long it takes to make this right, but don’t expect it to be resolved anytime soon.

I've owned lots of Rockford Fosgate systems and this did not disappoint. Everything fit perfect and sounds great. 1 negative is the price but you get over that once you've installed it.
