Rockford Fosgate X3 Audio Kits – Ensuring an Epic Off-Road Audio Experience
Not only are Rockford Fosgate SXS kits the easiest to install and set up, they deliver unparalleled performance, all to ensure an epic off-road audio experience.
The X3 Stage 3 kit is equipped with our PMX-2 digital media receiver and custom molded and textured upper dash kit. The Stage 3 kit also includes our texture and color matched front speaker panels with Smart-Lok, and our Color Optix M1 6.5” full-range speakers and controller for multicolor LED illumination. To deliver the boom, we’ve included our 10” subwoofer & enclosure, all powered by our play-all-day 800-Watt, 4-channel amplifier. Coming prepackaged with all necessary mounting and installation hardware, this kit allows you to quickly upgrade your X3 with minimal time and tools required.

The PMX-2 marine grade media receiver with a 2.7" full color display w/ auto dimming backlighting features superior Bluetooth audio, AM / FM / WB Tuner, AUX and USB inputs with USB charging, and Pandora control (Includes PMX-ANT, AM/FM/WB amplified 12V antenna)
X3 Dash Kit
The X317-DK dash kit for the media receiver is custom molded, textured and color matched to the X3 factory dash. It bolts directly into your X3 using OEM mounting holes, with minimal drilling required
X3 Front Speaker Panels
The X317-FSE front speaker panels with Smart-Lok are designed to directly fit compatible models, securing to existing factory mounting locations. The kit includes built-in wiring harnesses and mounting hardware needed for installation
6.5" Color Optix Full-Range Speakers
Purpose built to play high quality sound in the outdoors, the M1-65B 2-way front speakers deliver loud, clear, accurate sound that connects to the Color Optix Controller and RF Connect App, allowing you to customize your own color patterns
Color Optix Light Controller
The PMX-RGB Color Optix controller provides LED lighting control over the Color Optix speakers. Pair this with our RF Connect smartphone app to give you infinite control to customize the color and lighting effects of your speakers
10" Loaded Subwoofer & Enclosure
The X317-M1FWE 10” subwoofer in a sealed enclosure is designed to fit under the front driver or front passenger seat with plenty of room for seat adjustments and optimum clearance for the booming down-firing bass response
800-Watt 4-Channel Amplifier
The M5-800X4 amplifier features a new PRESET switch, pre-tuned and designed specifically for Rockford Fosgate UTV audio kits, which eliminates the need to set-up and tune the amp, resulting in out of the box performance, literally
8 AWG Amp Installation Kit
The X317-K8 amp install kit features a compatible amp bracket that fits underneath the dash and attaches to the factory steel cage. Includes all power/ground and speaker wire harnesses with a plug and play design that requires no cutting or drilling

Works great on my 2021 X3 XRS RR. The one thing they don’t tell you is the driver side speaker magnet will throw off your steering (to the right) in some cases. Took the X3 to the dealer and had the steering recentered with the speakers installed and everything works great now. It cost about an extra $200 to get this done.
