Buying these and find out that they really are just a set of rubber bands makes me a bit unamused by the price. Yeah they are a specific diameter and thickness, but it's still just a bag full of $0.02 rubber bands. I over-paid.I also incorrectly read through Rockshox's user manual and various available videos regarding my Monarch RL shock. I didn't mark the rating down for my own mistake. That's mostly for the ridiculous cost for some rubber bands. I just wanted to point the specifics of fitment for the benefits of others who might be making a similar mistake. These only work in the debonair high volume cans. Either you need an RC/RT3 or you have to buy the debonair upgrade can to go with your RL/RT/R to make use of these. Everything I found indicated these worked with the lower models. I don't recall seeing anything indicating that these were completely useless for tuning air volume without upgrading the air cylinder too. Not only did I pay too much for rubber bands, but they went straight into a box of spare parts as I can't currently use them. Time to start looking at cylinder upgrades.

I just want to say that this is not compatible with the Monarch Plus RC3 with Autosag (M-M tuned) for Specialized Stumpjumper FSR 2016.Apparently there are 3 types of air-can, 1. Standard Solo Air, 2. High Volume Solo Air, 3. DebonAir.The Monarch Plus RC3 on my bike is using the Standard Solo Air.There is no bottomless ring compatible for it.(checked with Specialized and SRAM)

Very expensive rubber bands do a great job of taking up space. Nobody seems to know whether they sit at the top or bottom though.

Best price on the internet. I only needed 2, so I gave the rest to my friends who also could use only 1 or 2 at most. Smaller packages would be great, still, can't beat the price when I bought them.

In case you don't know, this o-rings are used in the external air can of your rock shox air rear shock, specifically in your monarch plus debon air. The main idea is to reduce the air chamber volume, so you can use less air and avoid to bottom out (blow all your travel). Depending on your bike suspension design, your weight and style of riding it could be very useful or not. In my case i need only one o-ring in order to avoid that "avoidable" bottom out after a harsh part of my favorite trail; after researching and reading my setting was ok for my weight but for technical reasons that i don't totally understand (lol, i just want ride!) the shock was blowing all the travel. After the installation i'm using the same quantity of air and even i bottom out the shock the feeling is not so harsh and gives me more control / traction.
