I really wish I could give this amp a higher rating. It does a great job supplying plenty of power to my Skar Audio TX69 6x9's and TX525 5.25" speakers in my 1963 VW Beetle. It really sounds great for just the four speakers. I really like the controllability of the front & rear channels that are built into the amp. I like that it connects to my phone via Bluetooth to stream Spotify or SiriusXM. The downfall is that when I connect it to my phone, the volume automatically goes all the way up to full volume which is irritating. It basically overrides the volume level your phone is at and pushes it to max volume. I tried changing the device type on my phone from Car Stereo to Headphone or Hearing Aid to see if it would stop. It didn't cure the issue. I even tried using my old Android Note 9 to see if it was just an Apple iPhone thing. The volume went to max volume from all being all the way turned down. I sent a private message to Rockville through their FB page and had a response from them the next morning. I was impressed that they responded so quickly and confessed that they were fully aware of this situation and have seen the complaints about this. I selected this amp so I wouldn't have to install a head unit in the dash or glove box on my car since the original AM radio is still in the car for the vintage look. The person from Rockville Audio that responded to me said that they have made recommendations to the company to address this issue if they update or replace these Bluetooth Marine amps. They said these amps will operate when connecting a Bluetooth device directly to the amp, however since there is no volume control at the input for the Bluetooth input it will always do this. They recommended two different Bluetooth receivers they offer as a fix. They should include one of these options with the amp like Boss has with their Bluetooth amp. Since I am outside my return window, I am going to just live with it for now and just make sure the volume is all the way down before I press play on my phone.

Works great. I’ve always had higher end amps and speakers. Gave this a shot and I’m happy with it. Pushes a 12” sub and 4 kicker 6x9’s on my boat. Sounds good

I bought this particular Atom amp because of the BT connectivity that solves my problem in my old truck. I am using my iPhone and iPad to provide music and maps to my driving experience. Unfortunately, every time you start up the sound system, the BT connection inside the Atom tells my devices to go to full volume, no matter where it is left off when using it last. Not only is it extremely loud at first, it puts the speakers at high risk of being blown and mine are brand new!Rockville knows of this issue and the tech person suggested buying a separate BT device to bypass theirs as the solution to this problem?!!?! BTW-their Proton line with BT does not have this issue but is about 50% more costly. So, buyer beware. Save up for the Proton line or look for an alternative brand.PS. not only do they know about this issue, they don't include in the installation instructions any Caution or Warning that this issue exists, nor do they offer to provide at no additional cost an external BT connectivity device that they sell to solve their own BT issue. They said I could buy it from them for $15 but I found one for $9.95 here on Amazon that is working great just as theirs should have from the beginning.

I bought this unit for my RV-Travel Trailer, it's powering the inside only, "2" Boss 8inch Round 3Way RMS150Watts 350Watts Max each, With a Bridged 10in "1" Boss Phantom Sub @ 250RMS 400Maxx... & I must say this lil Sucker can Push & Punch Bass ... The sound is unbelievable... I now need to add @ Capacitor cause I see the lights flicker with the Bass & I don't want to mess up my "4" 6 Volt Batteries.... But in all this Amp Kicks Ass 👊🏼 I Love It

The unit installs fine. It doesn't shut off fully when you key off, the voltage gauge on the body stays lit after there's no "12v remote" going to the unit. That's strike one. Strike two? This gets HOT. I was playing with settings after my install and touched the case, it was a few degrees shy of burning me. I know some amps get a little hot, but this is NOT a good unit for the car interior. Mine's in the trunk away from flammables. Sound isn't bad, adjustability is nice for my 2.1 setup. Bluetooth has annoying "CONNECTED" announcement. Not bad for the money, not a lot of BT enabled amps out there. Let's see how it holds up.
