Great product, watts per buck is awsome. I purchased for 1 12inch sub in my extended cab pickup. The Amp isn't even half way turned up and the one 12 hits harder than I expected or even wanted. 2 channel wired at 4 ohms and my JBL sounds amazing. Thank you Rockford for an amazing product at a competitive price.

So the amp is rated for maybe four hundred and thirty something RMS another thing to consider when getting this amp is that you definitely want to do the Big 3 upgrade as well as maybe have a capacitor although a supercapacitor is obviously a lot better and in the long run cheaper since you won't have to replace shity capacitors along the way you could also just upgrade your alternator and do the Big 3 which is definitely what I would recommend if you're going to get into car audio anyway

I live in Texas and it’s hot in the summers which is when I purchased.!. I don’t run my system for hours at a time but to and from work 45 minutes going and coming and it haven’t cut off on me yet so that’s great.!. I had to upgrade my 15 Sub because this amp gave me True RMS Watts and I have it 3/4ths turned up and it burnt my Sub but my New 15 Inch Kicker can Easily handle the work load and could use a lot more watts.!. I truly recommend this product and I love the 90 day no questions ask return or exchange policy

This amp is great. I expected it to be decent, but not as good as what I got. But I was definitely happier than I expected I'd be. So far no problems. Came with extra fuses, three of them in fact, which is brilliant--easier than having to go to the store to buy more if one or all of them pop, or waiting for a shipment of new fuses, even though fuses can be found it packs of ten to twenty for nearly $5-$10 and are cheap to buy new ones.Anyway, I replaced the poorly made, unorganized, severely bottle-necked set of amps I had before, (which I got from somebody, and hadn't taken the time to make it right or make it organized because I knew I was getting a bigger, better amp soon, not knowing which one until I bought this one--the picture of my old setup is up above, there are three amps... a Rockford Fosgate, a Dual from Walmart, and a Boss amp.. terrible combination.); I replaced that jumbled mess with this amp, and while I was at it, re-did all my stock wiring and even the old wiring for the old set of amps, which ran off of 8 gauge (or 10g? Can't remember) wire which was beaten up, tangled, unorganized, bottle-necking, and dirty. Now I have clean power and a clean, organized install with all the excess wire hidden away and zip-tied together to keep it from tangling or getting unorganized in its hiding spot. In the images I have, I had not installed the amp rack yet. In fact it's not even built yet but I will be building it soon. I will probably need decently thick wood however, this amp is nearly 2 feet long and 3 quarters of a foot wide and about two inches tall, and made of a combination of the metal and whatever else, and weighs a decent amount.I did a self-check on the power and I got mine to do about 950-1000 watts RMS per channel (bridged at 1ohm, stable), and it pounds. I'm using a single Sundown 12" E-12 D4 dual voice-coil (500w RMS per coil, so about 1000w total--and Sundowns are known for being very underrated) and it fits the sub perfectly and pushes it hard. Very noticeable difference between my $200 - 400w Rockford Fosgate. In fact, my Rockford Fosgate amp is old and would cut out on me, going into protect (just because it was old and the original owner must have done something to make it unstable) after about half volume even with the gains completely down, and a good ground, and at 4 ohms per channel and with everything else down.Overall, AWESOME amp. And a huge amp for its price.

I purchased this unit as a backup. I have a amp already in my vehicle I just wanted to have something in case or when my other amplifier goes out. I hooked it up and used it for a short while it has plenty of Headroom nice power and sounds really good being a Class A and B amplifier of course. Would highly recommend for the price you cannot beat the amount of power that you will get for the price I would estimate this amplifier to be doing somewhere in the range of 950 to 1400 Watts and this is my estimate with a single battery and a 200 amp alternator no second battery no battery Banks just a primary battery and a decent alternator I'm sure with a bunch of batteries you may be able to get even more or with a 350 amp alternator I'm sure but for what I have it works well

This amp is extremely loud. Its too much for a car, I had to call it. My ears are still ringing because of it. I took it out and installed a different amplifier system on my car. Im just running a 4 channel 60 watt per channel amp with 6x9's. But this rockville amp should be illeagle It is too much for a small car. If you wanna go deaf then this amp has you covered. Even at low volumes this amp just doesn't stop. It was also destortion free. I was using 600 watt speakers it was badass loud, If your gonna enter a stereo contest it would be good for that, For normal listening like driving to work early in the morning this is not the right amp for you. this is a very honest review. be careful with this amp. Not to mention I was stopped by the police for disturbing the peace and I got a $300.00 ticket. If you install this amp. Notice how people look at you as your driving by. It is a nice amp well made and it looks good its just too much its a geezer amp. Happy Coronavirus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
