They definitely protect the speakers from the elements. The sun will fade the color to a gray fairly quickly.

The 6x9 covers are way too small to even fit a 6x9 speaker let alone a 6x9 speaker in a wakeboard tower enclosure. Couldn't even get these to fit half way around without ripping. Tossed them in the trash. Not even worth my time for returning.

Purchased these covers in May 2019. Within a year, the black faded to grey, but that wasn't a big deal for me. My issue occurred this year (2021) when both covers started to disintegrate, as shown in the photos. You would expect these covers to last more than 2 years. I will look for another option.
