Description:
The Rockville Punisher series of subwoofers were built from the ground up to survive brutal amounts of abuse and heat.
This subwoofer is huge and beefy and is in the heavy-weight division weighing in at 24.26 lbs. This 8” beast of a sub weighs more than most 15 inch subs!
The magnet is a 145 Oz (9.06 lbs). This sub has our best cooling technology which means even if you are entering competitions and playing 1 minute test tones it will handle it! We added a thick aluminum ring near the t-yoke that absorbs and dissipates a ton of heat. We also used a much thicker T-Yoke and washers which also absorb heat. The voice coil we use is 2.5” and is rated to handle heat up to 250 Degrees Celsius.

I installed a Skar underseat box in my 2018 Platinum F150 on 2/16/2025 with these 2 - Rockville 1 Ohm Punisher 8inch subs powered with a 1000W Rockville Krypton M3 Mono Block and MY TRUCK ROCKS! Proper Box Size, Ohm load, Tuning with the right Amplifier is key.

INITIALLY I MADE THE MISTAKE OF NOT RESEARCHING THE SUB BEFORE PURCHASE, I CANNOT UNDERSTAND HOW A MID RANGE SPEAKER CAN BE CALLED A SUB & SOLD AS ONE BUT HERE WE ARE ? SUBS TO BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE PLAY 15 HZ TO 20 HZ & ABOVE ? AT SOME POINT IN TIME THIS CHANGED FOR WHATEVER UNKNOWN REASON ? FOR THOSE OF US WHO DESIRE TRUE BASS SUBS KNOW THIS FACT. I PERSONALLY WISH SUBS WERE MADE TO PLAY 15 HZ TO 20 HZ & ABOVE ? THIS SUB WOULD BE AMAZING IF IT COULD OR WOULD PLAY THIS LOW FREQ'S, IF THIS COMPANY EVER BEGAN MAKING THEM I WOULD BE 1ST IN LINE LOL...

This little sub... I can't even say enough , I normally run a skar 12 EVL wired at 1 ohm and around 1450 w rms .. that's awesome but it takes a lot of trunk space. Wanted to grab an 8" to be able to use while shopping and man .. this punisher is amazing ! Hits the lows decent and at around 40-50 hz .. it wangs ! Got it wired 2 ohm taking about 900 or so rms and it's a beast for a single 8" . Great job Rockville !!!!!!

Wow can't sat enough about this sub it's like I realesed 12 gorillas in my truck this thing hits so hard and it loves the low bass and it's hooked to a 8000 watt war zone above and beyond amazed and came early
