Is been a year and I’m still hearing mine loud I think it’s how you set the settings a only got this one just one 8” sub and it’s loud like people hear me coming maybe not far away off rolling in but you know I’m coming about half a block away not bad for single sub and I’m the cab of my truck you can feel it bumping without heating up or any distortion I love it just wish it fits under my seat I have it sitting in the middle taking up 1 of my seats lol but love the sound.

I got it installed in my dodge caravan and sounds like I have 10inch subwoofer very good sounds and worth the price must buy

sound quality is poor compared to other set ups I've owned. I put it in my daughter's car for her first system . My wife's 2011 Toyota Sienna base model, stock system has cleaner, clearer harder hitting bass.

Installed in the trunk of an 05 accord. Can’t even tell it’s there over the STOCK paper door and rear deck speakers. Alpine ute70something mechless radio, subwoofer level set to 15, lpf and hpf sweep to get any signs of life. This is a swing and a miss. Tried a separate amp, tried laying back seats down. It sounds like a Walmart sub in a vehicle three car lengths behind you. Maybe this box can be used indoors for home theater applications, but you will have no razzle dazzle in automotive. Presentation and packaging and quality is all great, but speaker response is looooouuusy.

I'm used to the Walmart special and finally decided I wanted to step it up a bit to something with a stand alone amp. I did my research on YouTube on the db series amps and ALL Dyno higher than stated. The subs seemed to have great reviews so I grabbed one... OUTSTANDING JOB ROCKVILLE!!! This little 8" sub and amp, genuinely thump! Are going to make the mirror fall off, naw... Will it vibrate so hard you'll laugh trying to see traffic, sure will!!! I have a 2003 cavalier and this is almost too much according to the wife. However, I'm soo impressed for the sound vs size, I'm absolutely buying a second one to fill the trunk backing lol. Do your research, Rockville may be entry level, but it's entry level QUALITY stuff that always performs!

I tried to cancel this order before it shipped but it was shipped anyway. Installed it all into my car, yes its correctly installed. Amp lights up but puts nothing out to the sub. Don't waste your money
