I purchased these holds due to their very reasonable price, but they've greatly exceeded my expectations. Top notch quality, and every hold in my set was unique. They also look fantastic—even better than in the pictures. I'll definitely be purchasing again from Rocky Mountain Climbing.

Great holds, I use these on my repelling wall to add some footholds. Very sturdy and look natural. Definitely will be buying more.

Solid holds. Great price. These are great hand holds too if you want something a little more technical.

I purchased these holds to use for a Pikler triangle attachment for my one year old. They look quite nice and are a good size, but even before I opened the (minimal) packaging I was hit in the face by an awful smell similar to spray paint/rubber cement. They showed up wet in a paper envelope that was placed in a bubble mailer. Not sure what they were wet with, but hopefully the smell will go away after being thoroughly rinsed and left in the sun for a while. Otherwise I will be returning.

As my 3rd purchase I was excited, but these holds arrived too soon after molding (they were still wet stinky and slimy). Also since a small set of holds were recieved with a previous order (where I was supposed to get larger holds) the owner was going to put larger holds in this order. But they were the same small holds normally sent (also one hold was corroded). I was offered to return them but after a few days the stink went mostly away and the holds hardened so I just used them.

As many have mentioned, these do smell like chemicals when you open the envelope, however it is easy to remedy. I placed mine in a bucket with enough water to cover them. Then after a night of leaving them outside I dumped the water and did the same thing again. Now they have a very faint smell but nothing that too bad. I have a strong sense of smell. The holds range from small to medium and I would rate them at medium to difficult. The texture feels like well weathered granite. Smooth but porous.I had reached out to the company and they responded quickly, so overall a great purchase.

I ordered these and several other holds from Rocky Mountain Climbing and I have to say I'm very impressed. Compared to the Metolius holds I ordered, these are heavier feeling and more rocklike in composition, but they are also smoother (I consider this is a pro but others may like the more textured/sandpaper feel). So far none have broken (despite my kids dropping several of them on concrete). The RMC screw on foot jibs are bigger than most screw on foot jibs I've used (average 3"x3", .25-1.5" thick, all having at least 1 side .5" thick), so much so that I'm using several of them as hand holds. You likely won't be doing much technical footwork with these, but they do have decent variety to them and depending on the angle you mount them could be easy or moderately difficult footholds. These would make a great addition to any wall for any climber skill level. For reference, I boulder in the V7-V9 range and find these useful, but they are still easy enough that my young kids (under 5) can use them. As several have mentioned, these will have a strong smell to them when you open them, but just let them air out for a day or so and they'll be fine. I am also very pleased with RMC's customer support. In one of my shipments they forgot the mounting hardware, and not only did they rush the missing hardware to me, they included an extra set of holds/hardware with it. Needless to say overall I'm very pleased with my RMC purchase and will certainly be looking to their products for future purchases.
