This is a must in my opinion if you are an avid elk hunter. Gone are my days of using the old vacuum tubing. The sound and range that this is capable of, vastly exceeds what you can do on the older calls. Sad to say, but I’ve definitely called in more hunters than elk with it, but that says something all by itself. Only downside I’ve found is that it’s bulkiness does cause some issues when trekking through rough terrain and thick brush. The sound of a twig smacking it is sure to get an elk locked on to your position (speaking from experience) I have had to tuck it into my chest and duck through the brush to avoid getting that hollow thumping/echoing sound. Overall, great purchase.

I was able to make poor elk calls immediately using my mouth call which i already owned, product does not come with a mouth call. My dog though it was a dog toy, be careful.I was also able to call my wife to my bed with it.

Second one I’ve purchased. Left my first one out in the field for the hunting gods last season. Produces great sound!!!! The mouthpiece insert really makes a difference for me with being able to increase pressure and control the tone. I wouldn’t say it’s easy to learn, it takes lots of practice and patience from the wife not to kill you, lol. Highly recommend this tube!!

It is a fine tube but the rubber gasket broke on the end before my first hunting trip even while it was stored inside.

I bought this tube a couple months back and have been practicing with it nearly every day. I really like the sounds coming through it and I like how it sounds less like plastic than some of the others out there. I went with this call over the Phelps and I am satisfied with my purchase. Looking forward to this elk season.
