The R˜DE NT2-A Large-Capsule Studio Condenser Microphone is a professional, one-inch condenser microphone with variable pick-up patterns, high-pass filter, and pad. 3 - 3-position switches located on the mic body provide selection of figure 8, cardioid, or omni polar pick-up patterns; from a flat response to either 80Hz or 40Hz high-pass filter; and pad adjustments of 0dB, -5dB, or -10dB attenuation. The heart of the NT2-A is the Australian-designed and manufactured Type HF1 dual-diaphragm capsule. The frequency and transient response of this new transducer has been voiced to complement today's modern recording techniques and yet still evoke the silky smooth character of the legendary microphones of the '50s and '60s. Muy versátil, gracias al multipatrón, puedes grabar todo tipo de instrumentos, drums y voces. Lo ideal es acondicionar un poco la sala dónde se vaya a usar. 10 años de garantía RØDE. Recuerda a los Neumann de los 60 con un calor especial en las medias frecuencias. Viene con su araña y su filtro antipop, ambos de buena calidad. Se siente robusto en su construcción. Un Entry Level que más de uno usa cómo primer micrófono en su estudio profesional. A mí me ha encantado.

Ok I haven’t used it yet , so hopefully I can come back and say how great it is , loved the original z.... but !!!! Their shock mounts are the worst !!!!! They don’t hold and sag very easy on the screws and nuts for placement . The poop Shield is curiously bad .... how the heck does it stay in place . A piece of plastic for what !? It slides and moves around . If I’m wrong I’ll come back and re write the review , but the the accessories are junk . No case either , should be one for sure !!! Just a dust cover . But their case back from the 90s was junk anyway .... one more thing , I think rode makes fine mics ... but if u weren’t aware they have a mic pop shield cover that’s furry they call the dead cat ..... callow and tasteless . I wrote them about it they could care less . So gross and insensitive ..... grow up rode !!!!! Shame . What are u thinking! Just unbelievable .... hey censors , Lay off please , these are important facts ....

Purchased to do VO in a professional environment. With the right signal chain, we have really gotten a sweet, rich sound from this mic. This is an excellent mic for this price point! Considering buying one for myself for personal projects.

This is an amazing mic. Exactly as described. It is crystal clear when I record and depending on the setting, it picks up different sound, again, as described. Amateur recording artist here and having a lot of fun. If you can afford it, get this one. It’s amazing!

This microphone is great! I have a resonant baritone voice and it clearly captures the nuances of my tone without over-emphasizing any particular frequency. It also works well as an overhead for drums or as a room mic. The construction is solid and the box (at least, my box) comes with several of the other goodies pictured: the carrying bag, the pop filter, and a "high quality" cable (as it prominently says on the cable).I recommend this microphone for any studio. It is quite dynamic! ...or condenser. ;)-K

Comprato su warehouse alla metà del prezzo, si è rivelato un autentico affare essendo arrivato il prodotto nuovissimo, con solo gli estremi della confezione che lo conteneva un po' ammaccati.Il microfono è un classico contemporaneo, ha la caratteristica di essere caldo e abbastanza lineare. Può risultare necessario usare un deesser per ridurre le sibilanti che vengono fortemente accentuate, specie con voci femminili. E' possibile selezionare ben tre risposte polari: cardioide (quella che consiglio per iniziare, suono in faccia), omni (per registrare la stanza, aiuta per le sibilanti ma allontana la registrazione) e 8 (utile per dialoghi con due speaker di fronte al microfono).Un'altra caratteristica è la capacità di avere un ridotto il rumore di fondo, e questo risulta un grandissimo un vantaggio in fase di registrazione.E' un microfono di fascia media, si può considerare professionale, al prezzo di listino è già un affare, vi portate a casa un prodotto di qualità.Difetto? Se per le sibilanti, la facilità di equalizzazione permette di ridurlo o cancellarlo, il vero difetto è il peso. E' un macigno. Vi consiglio di acquistare un'asta microfonica di qualità, io ho preso una k&m. E' in ogni caso consigliato evitare di usarlo con aste a giraffa perché mancherebbe peso per bilanciare il rode nt2a.Lo consiglio? Eccome, specie se lo usate per voci ed il budget è ridotto.ps. esistono mod per renderlo meno sibilante e più vicino a un u87. Questa però è un'altra storia e vi consiglio, se siete interessati, di documentarvi in rete.

想像していた以上の感度の良さにびっく。またハイパスフィルターが装備されていて、自分のこもり気味の声にも対応してくれるのも気に入りました。はじめてのボーカル録音で下手さかげんを思い知らされ、カラオケ気分ではダメな事がわかりました。今は歌うことの楽しさをあらためて覚え、真剣に歌うことに取り組んでいます。

I purchased 4 different mics that claim to be good for female vocalist in the $100-400 range. This one had the most pleasing sound (may not be true for all music types and all singer voices).It is big and heavy, (I needed to add counter balance weight on the boom stand), The shock mount and pop shield are nice additions for studio use, they are well made.It is a good value for the money.
