Internal Mesh Improves 'Shapeability' (new in v3)
A new internal mesh provides more structure to the reflector and allows FlashBenders v3 to bend and hold their shape even better for faster and easier creative lighting control.
The patented FlashBender v3 Small Reflector design incorporates 2 positionable rods that allow you to bend and shape it into a variety of positions.
FlashBenders are made to withstand years of use in demanding conditions; they are hand sewn from custom fabrics, heavy duty rods, and durable fasteners.
Quick Release Buckle Attaches Faster and Grips Better (new in v3)
The new FlashBender v3 attachment strap incorporates a textured neoprene material that grips the flash head better, and a quick-release buckle makes attaching and removing them even faster.
FlashBenders attach directly to your flash without the need for additional mounting hardware.
Adjustable Strap Fits More Flashes (new in v3)
The new FlashBender v3 attachment strap can be adjusted to fit flashes from 6.75" to 17" circumference. It will fit everything from small mirrorless flashes to large strobes, and everything in-between, including round-head flashes.
On-Camera Flash Photography with the FlashBender v3 Small Reflector
Reflector: Attach the FlashBender reflector to your flash and shape the top of the reflector to bounce light forward to fill shadows and create catch lights. If you are shooting under a good bounce surface (white ceiling), then shape the reflector to allow some light to bounce off the ceiling.
Off-Camera Flash Photography with the FlashBender v3 Small Reflector
Because the FlashBender v3 is shapeable you can also use it off-camera to modify your main, background, or hair light. Attach the FlashBender reflector to your flash and shape it to direct light where you want it, or use it to block light from where you do not. You can use a single FlashBender Small Reflector to modify light in different ways for different purposes.
Reflector/Gobo: Shape the FlashBender to control lens flare, light your subject without spilling light onto your background, or light your background without spilling light onto your subject.
Snoot: Shape the FlashBender into a snoot (tube) to create a circle of light. The snoot can be used to selectively light a face, or to focus a hair or accent light.

I needed something to help me redirect the light for an outdoor event. The MagBounce 2 on top of the flash makes it too heavy to carry around, so I bought the small one. It worked great.

Im a big fan of off camera flash but needed this as the job was in a tight space and only one person. Workled a treat. I had to jimmy it. a bit to put the flash sideways to shoot vertical flash but other than tyhis great product.

I have used the larger version in the past but wanted to try this small version for a mini speedlight. Works well and provides a better quality of light in addition to being durable. This one lives in a camera bag on the go and holds up well. Where this helps me the most is outdoors or indoor areas with very high ceilings where bouncing a flash isn’t practical. Bending it to help bounce the flash forward in those places you can’t bounce off a ceiling really helps increase the size of the light source. In places where a ceiling bounce is possible, using this provides me very similar results as bouncing off the ceiling using a sto-fen diffuser in which case I prefer the smaller sto-fen.
