This backpack is much bigger than it looks in the pictures with a young person wearing the pack. I'll share a picture of it on my back; for reference I'm 5'6.There is a third zippered compartment on the side that sits against your back that is big enough for skates. I will attach an image of my women’s size 9 skates in the bag.It has two other roomy zippered compartments on the back that would be roomy enough for a small helmet and some safety pads. The compartments are divided by a single piece of material and do not have any additional reinforcement or shape to them. I’ll include a few interior picture to show the material that divides the different pockets. This makes the bag nice and light, but I'm knocking a star off of my review because I think the interior could use a thicker material to divide the pockets for the kinds of items that will be carried in a skate/sports equipment bag.The bottom of the bag is not rigid and I find it a little awkward to carry on my back with my heavy skates moving around in the bottom of the bag. If you are carrying skates a short distance it would be fine, but you would probably want to stabilize the bottom a bit more if you were planning to carry skates a long distance or for hours at a time. The shoulder straps are adjustable for a better fit.

I got this for my kid roller skate and I absolutely love it. The bag seems to be good quality. It's big enough to carry all the accessories you'd need. The shoulder strap is padded, making it easy to carry without feeling like it’s cutting into my shoulder. Overall really happy with this bag. I would highly recommend.

I recently came across this fantastic ice skate bag on Amazon Vine and couldn't wait to give it a try, especially since I had been searching for a bag that offers the spaciousness of a duffel bag but with a more compact design. I’m so glad I did! This bag boasts an impressive amount of storage, easily fitting my ice skates along with all my other essentials, such as hats, gloves, skate guards, and extra clothes. While it's generously sized for its purpose, it never feels overly bulky, which is a huge plus. One of my favorite features is the flap on the back, designed specifically for skates, which opens up even more storage space. The bag is also well-padded and comes with a chest clip on the straps, making it comfortable and easy to carry around without feeling weighed down. For anyone looking for a high-quality yet affordable option, this bag is an absolute winner. It offers great value for the price and ensures you get maximum storage without the hassle. Highly recommend!

This bag was designed to transport skates. The compartments are cavernous! The bottom is not reinforced. The straps are padded. There is a chest strap to redistribute some of the weight. You could use this for clothes and stack them. The bag would hold alot of garments. The bag is very lightweight and does not add to the over all weight.

My daughter and I have recently taken up roller skating, so I've been looking for some cute bags to store and carry our skates. I love the color combo on this! I wear a size 9 in skates; this bag fits them, PLUS my wrist, knee, and elbow pads, an extra pair of socks, a small bag of tools and a packet of baby wipes, AND my helmet. I love it!

Very cute bag. Fits my wife's skates very well. Much nicer than carrying them as two skates as that can get awkward. This is also nice for storing them while not in use.

The size of this skate bag is somewhat deceiving. Its very roomy and somehow still comfortable to wear.I'll go over some of the downsides. The bag material is overall lighter duty. I compared this to my Rollerblade LT30 bag and the Rollerblade bag material is more durable and just feels more rugged. The shoulder straps are about twice as padded and the zippers are YKK. This is also more than 3x the cost. The material on this bag is a lot thinner, maybe thinner than a typical Jansport backpack. The zippers don't feel very rugged and the material that separate the compartments are also very thin. The straps are only lightly padded and not very dense. The same goes for the bottom of the bag. Its padded and just enough to somewhat maintain its shape with skates inside. So in general, I wouldn't go too hard on this bag.Now for the good stuff. The design is interesting and reminds me of camera backpacks where the compartment for the skates is located on the back. To access your skates, you'd need to remove the backpack. There is plenty of space in the skate compartment and should fit larger skates with no issues. The other compartments in the front of the bag consist of a "helmet" section and the "pads/accessories" section. The helmet section fits a fairly large helmet and still had a good amount of room. The pad section shares the space with the skates which is separated by that very thin material. There's still a good amount of room for some smaller kneepads and a mesh pouch section for smaller items like a phone or keys. Its a good skate bag for the price. You get what you pay for in material, but its design and functionality push it up. This is good for taking to the rink and not banging it up too much.

My daughter is so happy with this bag. It's huge! There is a massive compartment for skated and the rest of the backpack still has the capacity to carry the rest of her belongings. The fabric is nice and thick, and the zippers are very smooth.
