Fits almost perfectly. Shrink wrap had to be folded to fit in the PS2’s RF shield battery slot but glad I got the time to tick again.

It's the same size as the original battery. The plug is also the same size as the original.

Bought for my ps2 slim but it wasn’t even the same as the picture as it’s what I need but it does come with a card to contact them to get the right one but I’m not doing that, maybe they should update their description to the correct product instead.Other than that the battery looks well made.

Easy swap of the cmos battery on my ps2 slim. Note to buyers: make sure you open up the console before buying the battery. There’s multiple versions of the ps2 slim and some use a cmos battery that doesn’t require this connector. You’ll know as soon as you open the console.

This battery is good to replace the internal battery of a PS3 fat, same size.

This works well for the model 70001. The blue circles at the main menu did not work originally, so I had to do research on what was wrong with it and bought this to replace the old one in the console. Now the blue circles are moving again.

I’ve been revisiting my older gaming consoles and noticed my PS2 wouldn’t keep time unless I keep it plugged in, which I usually don’t unless I’m in a mood to play it for a while. It’s not a big deal but as affordable as these 2032 batteries are it’s worth replacing, especially since the new battery should last for years to come. Other listings don’t specify if the connector itself will fit the PS2 Slim console (and some other product reviews said the connector didn’t fit) so I went with this one which specifies it will work with the PS2 Slim and PS3. The PS2 slim is very easy to open up, and there are many guides online on how to do this job. The only issue I ran into was that the female port this battery plugs into came off with the battery connector. Luckily it isn’t soldered in, it just fits overtop of the two metal pins closest to the battery (2 right most pins assuming you are viewing the PS2 with the memory card and controller ports facing you.) The 2 pins on the left appear to just support the housing from moving around, so once I got that piece pushed back on I got the new battery put in. The wrapping on this battery is larger and took a bit of pressing to get it to fit in but the plastic covering is flexible and can be bent. The battery also has a little adhesive patch to help keep it in place but it didn’t seem to hold very well since the only mating surface is a little metal tab that helps hold the battery in place but it shouldn’t matter anyway once the top shell is back on the PS2.This battery is very affordable and is plug and play with the PS2 Slim (I assume it would work with the PS3 as well but wouldn’t be as necessary if you keep your PS3 connected to WiFi as it will automatically sync the time.) It is a straightforward and easy job but if you would have the piece on the board come out with the old battery just push it back onto the 2 right most pins. Once everything is in place you should have a functioning battery for years to come.
