I've run this " ozone generator " 4 times in the last 6 weeks. Twice for 2 hours ( max on timer) and twice for 8 (!) hours; after the first 8 hr. run, a roach was walking across the top of it! This is in a 22 foot camper, well sealed, all drawers open, etc. After running this, upon entering to air out, there was a noticeable smell, so I suppose it was " running ". Complete waste of money; might as well have performed a Voodoo ceremony.

We had a defective backflow preventer valve on our basement drain so it was allowing sewer smell to drift into the basement. Plumber had to order the replacement part and it took over a week to be repaired. This device was a lifesaver! It does produce an odor of its own but not unpleasant.

My dog accidentally bit into doe urine that my husband was about to use for hunting. It made the entire room smell awful. We used carpet cleaner. We used everything we possibly could and the smell lingered in the entire room. We purchased this in a last stitch effort to get rid of the smell. It worked! It does leave an electrical smell of some sort so definitely needs to be ventilated after, but very effective.

It does what it says it will do. Although you could make the joke: Replaces your horrible stench with our horrible stench instead. One thing to know is that your clothes will pick up the smell when you go in the room to open the windows. And it's a good idea to turn off the HVAC because if it's on, it will push the ozone out of the room / space you're treating. The first time I used it I got a headache from too much leaking from the room, before I realized the HVAC was on. Then I had to change clothes. It's a good idea to have a fan you can put in the window to help ventilate and exchange air with the outside. I love that it kills germs, and by implication, it annoys if not kills hiding bugs. Although for myself I worry about mold in my old house. I'll be happy if the mold gets really unhappy with this treatment, and decides my home isn't a good habitat.
