I'm not really sure what then exact intended purpose of these small floats is, exactly, but they are sturdy enough. I purchased them to put in a water trough to prevent fellow creatures from drowning in same. I used marine rope to tie them together and added knots for thirsty creatures that happen chance to fall in the water to grab onto. So far so good...my horses haven't bothered to destroy them, yet.

Works great for my kayak anchor. Visibility is great being bright yellow.

Almost 5 star if one of them did not have this melted defect issue. Look like the manufacture try to patch a hole in one of the buoy. Overall it slides down my rope easily and floats in the ocean with this bright b yellow color on my crab cage or hoop net so no one can accidnetly tangle their line over it especially at night time.

I saw something similar at my local marina and thought, what a great idea. But they were double the price for essentially the same thing.Pros: Hard, durable foam, large enough hole for thicker rope, nice size (I got the 6"x4"). I plan to put this on my anchor ropes in case I drop the line and think it'll work great and save me from losing an anchor. I'll probably only tie a knot on the boat end to allow the rope to flow through while dropping the anchor since there's never a set length of rope needed when anchoring-different depths in different areas. I'm also going to try and put this on my ski rope (knot on each side) to help keep the line out of the water and away from the prop. Also not a bad idea for a ski rope just to provide some visibility to other boatersCons: I'm a little unsure how you'd use the screws and if they'd hurt your rope over time but don't plan on using them. Some instructions on using the screws would be nice as I've never seen floats used with screws.
