The WEEPALM Rotatable Baseball Radar is a useful training tool, but it has some limitations. The large LCD display and tripod option make it convenient for practice, and the rotatable design allows for flexible positioning. However, the accuracy can be inconsistent, as it doesn’t always pick up the ball speed reliably. This can be frustrating when trying to track progress. While it’s a decent option for casual training, those looking for precise readings may want to consider other alternatives.

I got this to monitor my son's pitching speed as he progresses through lessons. I didn't have anything to calibrate it against, but his coach, who is a former major league pitcher / pitching coach said that he felt it was accurate. I haven't used the tripod for measuring speeds, but I did set it up and it seemed sturdy. The radar unit also seemed sturdy. It uses AAA batteries. Overall, I think it's a great value for the price.

This is a good budget portable radar that is accurate but has some minor usability issues. This product doesn't have the press and hold ON feature. When you turn it ON it continuously acquires which will burn down batteries quicker. It is also physically larger than a Pocket Radar but still portable. Sometimes readings do not measure. But overall, this will work for taking to practices and games where you can stand behind the player, backstop, or a few rows up on the bleachers behind the ump. When directly behind a pitching machine, this product measured baseball velocity within 1 MPH of a Pocket Radar and a Stalker Radar. Unlike a Stalker but like a Pocket Radar, for accurate readings this radar requires to operator to be fairly close to what is being measured. This works well for standing in-line behind a pitcher or catcher.I can confirm that every 12 to 16+ year old (and their dad) boasts pitching speeds at least 10 MPH faster than reality until the radar gun comes out. ;)

Our family is a huge baseball family and our oldest plays very seriously with his teams. They are always needing to perfect their craft to have the best possible outcome and has continuously wonder how fast their pitches are. Well, this tool answers their questions. This baseball radar is awesome, simply put. It is so easy to use. It turns on and off easily, and the buttons are so user-friendly. My kid had no issues working it and understanding it. The radar is a bit pricey, but I think it's a useful tool to have with any team. I like that it is accurate and lines up with another radar I use. The tripod is so helpful for when he's training alone. It holds the radar steadily without issue because the legs are wider than your normal tripod, which I'm so thankful for. You can be a good distance from the radar and it still works! So far, the battery lasts a good while as we've used it many times and for long durations.

I have another radar gun and this matches the speed exactly, making me think either both are perfectly on, or both need calibration, but I assume it's the former. The tripod is a little tough to assemble out of the box, but once you get it together it does the job. The controls are simple and work. I can't get anywhere near 150mph, so I have no idea if that really is the max. It would be nice if it was backlit, but it's not terrible without.

This handheld radar gun is a compact and budget-friendly option for measuring pitch and swing speeds. Its lightweight design makes it easy to carry and use, whether on the field or in training sessions. The display is clear, and operation is straightforward, with a simple button layout for quick speed readings.Accuracy is decent for casual use, though results can sometimes fluctuate, especially at longer distances or with inconsistent angles. It works best within close range (under 50 feet) and in controlled conditions. The battery life is solid, lasting multiple sessions before needing a recharge or battery swap. For coaches, parents, or players looking for an affordable speed-tracking tool, the Weepalm radar gun is a great entry-level choice. However, if precision and professional-grade reliability are a priority, higher-end models may be a better investment.

My husband plays a lot of baseball and soft ball and is always going to play at his friend's facility, where they do computerized gaming. He tried the The WEEPALM Rotatable Baseball Radar and he says it's pretty accurate with its speed readings and easy to operate. It does run on batteries, so keep that in mind. The radar comes with convenient pouch to put it in and clear instructions. Overall, this is a decent product for the price.

Seems to be working great, I will update my review if I have any issues. Way cheaper than other name brand but seems to do what I purchased it for, bat speed, exit velocity and pitch speed.
