My mother used this for a murder mystery trivia night. She was dressed/played a train conductor. It fit well with her outfit and she had no issues. Good for a budget cosplay!

great hat....for a rothco it was a great price including delivery came from the states so a bit of a wait,i ordered large my head is 59cm and shaved it fitted but i felt sightly too snug....soaked it and dried it over a dome shaped hat stand with a thick towel underneath for a day or two...tugging it now n again and now its much bigger and fits great, colour and material is also great .

My husband uses these while working on the steam engines at Golden Spike. Needless to say, he comes home very dirty with black soot. These caps are quite sturdy and have held up to machine washing and still look very good. Even with regular washing there has been very little shrinkage. They also quickly air dry.

Well made with the correct folders, a heavy denim hat which should last for years.I normally wear a 7.5 hat, this is a large and just a little tight.

I bought this hat as a replacement for one I got years ago. Except for lack of hat band liner it as good as the one I bought and used for many years (I used it as a fishing hat). I expect many years of service. I would be sure to order the right size since there is no elastic in the hat band (a good thing as its one less point of possible failure).
