I've been using radiographs for some years. This is a great starter set (since the tips are thicker), including ink!

These pens are such a pleasure to use. The ink flow is constant. The cartridges are refillable too. Very comfortable to hold, and the junior set come in 3 sizes (0.25, 0.35, 0.50). The set also comes with a very nice Tikky Rotring mechanical pencil (0.5), it is my new favorite pencil, it writes smoothly and is also comfortable to hold. I highly recommend this set.

I got this for my husband, who is a pen and ink artist. He loves the pens so much, he has been drawing like crazy since he got them. He likes them even better than his Kohinoor Rapidograph pens that he has used for many, many years. The ink quality and the way the pen controls the ink is excellent. I'm glad we took a chance and tried them.

I chose these over the isographs mainly due to the fact I would like to have the best of both worlds. As in the ability to self refill, AND decide on the cartridges route.Yes you CAN self refill the cartridges on these ;)Just get a small blunted needle and some technical ink of your choosing and your off :DAs the price suggest they’re NOT for anyone who doesn’t understand the value in having such precise works of mechanical nirvana. But to be fair there are more expensive options out there if you insist.I love the build quality overall, though I do have one little gripe and that’s with the strength of the barrel in perticular where the threads meet the pens business end. In my opinion they could have made either thePlastic hardier or simply had a metal sleeve there for reinforcement. When I or my first set, as I was a noob yet I fealt an overwhelming desire to over tighten that nibhousing until I heard that unforgettably, unhealthy CRACK...no worries though, pen still flowed like a farrari around an s-curve :)Nothing a bit of metallic ducting tape can’t fix LOLLessons learned.Aside from that bit of mostly new user error, there’s really nothing seriously bad that can be said about these.Would highly recommend :)

For the money these are definetly some of the coolest pens I used, they are fairly durable and will save you money in the future since the ink refill cartridges are not too pricey. My only complaint is that the .25 pen seems to be faulty. This pen is supposed to be the finest point pen here but unfortunately a problem with the tip makes a big swell of ink come out and makes a line bigger than the .50 pen which is supposed to be the thicker pen here.

These things are amazing. I use them for location sketching and they flow beautifully. They take some effort and knowledge to get working but that's nothing that YouTube cannot solve. A great product for ink sketching.

Nice set of Rapidograph pens. I suggest you store them upright, tips up. The .20 needs some "encouragement" now and then to get the ink flowing. But all in all, the set is a good value and they work well.

I am really enjoying this set of rapidograph pens, for one thing this was a terrific price, and for another Rotring in my opinion makes a great rapidograph pen. not sure how long rapiograph pens will be around so if you are inclined to have one don't wait too long, go ahead and get one or the set, I am not sure why the lead and erasers were included since there was no mechanical pen with this set, but hey I can still use them. They are easy to assemble and they perform great, the cartridges can be refilled although not as simple as with their isograph pen. All in all this is a great purchase, if you like to draw and I do, they work great for that. Go ahead and try them.
