Product was and still has some remnants of a bad description. I ordered when the description clearly said 3.5" x 12.5" and did not include other information. THESE ARE 3.625 or 3 5/8" wide. Seller was more than obliging and quickly sent out 3.5 x 11.5 u-bolts. (Yeah, the replacements were a bit shorter but work fine for my needs.) Product quality is good. Size is 3.625 x 12.5 x .625 = 3 5/8 x 12 1/2 x 5/8 for this product.
