Perfect replacement for the stock intake. The instructions were clear, my only complaint I can make is that most of the hardware was missing. Its not a big issue, as hose-clamps, nuts, bolts, and washers are common. But I cannot give 5 stars for so many pieces being left out. The heat shield was also slightly bent out of place, but it was easy enough to straighten out.

Missing most every part, box damaged, very poor quality parts. I was able to make it fit with parts I purchased elsewhere. Overall pretty poor product, however, company did send out missing parts quickly.

Package showed up pretty mangled, upon further inspection the CAI seemed to be already installed? There was a good scratch in the pipe that someone just sharpied over to cover up. The boot that connects the intake to the throttle body had a 1.5in tear in it making it unusable. And the hardware that came with the box wasn’t even the hardware displayed in the directions.

RC must not have a quality control of any kind- 2 out of 2 products have been missing hardware and the hardware was wrong- If you go with this intake, do yourself a favor and just go to the hardware store before you start buying the project-I called and talked to customer service who said they were going to ship me the correct hardware by the next day- (never showed up)-This is my last RC purchase-

This was the worst experience ever with a cai. This thing is worthless. They sent the wrong bolts, nuts and washers that don't fit the wrong bolts, the rubber bushing is a joke and broke all to pieces so I had to drill a hole through it and put my own bolt in it. Worst off all, it doesn't even fit right. It's supposed to come straight out of the throttle body, instead it is at about a 45° angle coming off of the throttle body. Seriously, don't waste your time or money. But something else.

This isn’t a bad cold air intake. Definitely not “top of the line” but quality is ok. Tube arrived a bit scratched up, the rubber bushing part didn’t really work, and the included nuts and bolts were the wrong size. Also, this will NOT fit if you have a throttle body spacer on your 2.5L (and I suspect a 4.0 too) as the tube makes contact with the hood and doesn’t line up correctly with the heat shield. I removed the spacer which wasn’t really doing anything anyway and it fits well. The heat shield should help isolate the filter and the filter is nice and large. Definitely notice a bit louder rumble at wide open throttle compared to my previous CAI which kept the stock air box. Throttle response isn’t much different. Overall I’m satisfied.

2000 TJ, 2.5LBox was damaged on arrival. Some of the metal was slightly bent. Due to loose packing. Easy bent back. Box was missing the zip tie, but I had spares.Install is simple. Hardest part for me was the bolt on the radiator. Tight space.
