High Strength Ball Joints. Rough Country’s Forged Upper Control Arms use POM ball joints which reduces metal-to-metal contact for less maintenance and longer service life versus standard or OE replacements. These Ball joints feature a POM ball race for an extremely low co-efficient of friction and an oversize ball diameter reduces load and improves range of motion in a fully greaseable design. Rough Country’s Forged Upper Control Arms also feature durable rubber bushings rubber bushings for superior quality and durability.

These are junk. Don’t waste your money. After putting about 300 miles on them they have started popping and the rubber boots around the ball joint are already dry rotten.

I have a three inch torsion bar lift on my truck and i had a bit of a camber to my front suspension, I replaced the stock uppers with these rough country control arms. it got rid of the camber (still needs an alignment) but it rides so much smoother. Also raised the front end up about an inch. very simple to install dont have to take anything else off besides stock control arm.

I bought this for my 1997 Chevy silverado k1500, after I replaced the keys for my torsion bars to give it a 2" lift. The truck seem bouncy and made it an uncomfortable ride. But after installing these Rough Country upper control arms (only took no more than 2 hours to install, with the right tools, without removing any other parts) (highly recommend alignment, because of the alignment washers being moved), the ride was a lot more comfortable. Product is really well made, strong and sturdy. Well recommended.

Working on a 98 z71 with the 3 inch torsion lift, came in a few days earlier than expected. They fit great and corrected the lean to my tires and also gave me about an inch more of lift. All while giving my truck a great ride. Only thing I don't like is the shank on the ball joints are a little cheesy compared to the factory one but overall a great product
