This is alright. The plate is smaller than many drop-in plates so make sure the size will work for you. It has 8 router mounting holes and I have doubts any stock router will have holes in the matching spots, so you'll have to work around that. The plate is anodized aluminum and flat enough for use. The fence and miter gauge are pretty well made. You'll need 2 metric allen wrenches to get the miter gauge set up the first time and just one for future adjustments of the angle. There are no detents. I've never had much use or interest in router table miter gauges myself but it's here if you want to use it. The fence fronts are adjusted with a phillips screwdriver, the other adjustments with wing nuts. There are C-channels on top.I got this to put an old P-C laminate trimmer in and build something like a box to hold it in for quick cuts in my shop. I don't have space for a permanent router table and am not a big user of them anyway. Mine is a laminate top with a plate cutout I can drop a fixed base router in. I put the top on sawhorses, clamp on a fence and off I go. I stuff the top away in a corner most of the time.

So… this is what you see in the listing. And really of decent quality as far as that goes. So on that basis I can't really justify lowering my rating from my usual four star default. But I don't know that it's a good value. And I don't think I'll be using it personally. Some of the main things that aren't right for me, but again aren't really flaws /per se/ if you're after this particular design. I just was interested to see if this would work for my particular setup, but:* the plate doesn't fit my Bosch Colt trim router (and might be tricky to drill for unless I pivot the router 45º or something so the new holes aren't half-overlapping with the old ones)* the dust port doesn't fit my vacuum cleaner, it's just a millimeter or two too big* speaking of millimeters, that's what all the ruler guides are marked in. again nothing inherently wrong with that, and I already do most of my part design and CNC work in millimeters — but all my other woodworking tools are in INCHES right nowI do like how the miter gauge has a little channel to slide in. And I was kinda surprised, the miter gauge isn't half bad although it's still small and cheap (and does require a tool to adjust). But beyond that, nothing about this is really quite close enough to what I'd want in a store-bought router plate to justify DIYing into something.

I don’t think any of these fits my router. It appears to be built very well. Wish it worked. I’m not sure how to return it since the packaging was mostly just a layer of foam wrapped around it. I ended up tearing it up removing it. I guess I will throw it away.
