Mounted this very strong blade on the back of garden tractor to cut a 100 foot long shallow furrow in backyard to run an irrigation line. Waited until ground was moist and soft. St Augustine grass runners built up on the blade/holder after 20 feet or so, so it would work better to cutter runner type grass with an edger first if used for this purpose. This worked very well overall and was much faster and easier over using a shovel for that distance.
