I’m a huge Royal Robbins fan and this sweater is fabulous in appearance, but it has a horrible smell (which I assume would come out in the wash?) and the material (60% wool/40% polyester & made in China) is so scratchy there’s no way I could ever wear it without a ling sleeve shirt under as a liner. It’s on the thin side for a sweater (as it appears in pics) and I wasn’t looking for something to layer. Wish there were other reviews to tell me if the fabric softens in the wash (a LOT), but since there aren’t I’ll likely return it.
