I took a star off because although these are sturdy and pretty, there is what appears to be soot at the bottom of one of the mugs that will not come clean. Also, on the inside of the rim where the Celtic motifs are there are on both mugs a slightly rough overlap of the design. The outside is really lovely. Just wish there wasn't a weird sooty stain on the bottom of the one cup. I can't be bothered to ship the one out. But the mugs should be looked at before sending.

These Celtic Cross mugs were a Christmas gift for my Mom and Sister who live together. Let me just say that the picture does not do them justice. The colors are very vibrant with a lot more red than you usually see for anything Irish. Usually there are more blues and greens. If you like things like this, you really should buy them. They are gorgeous and they truly loved receiving them.
