The dude cover is a nice comfortable fabric, nicer than hotel bedding imo. It has held up well after a couple months of use and washes. The only thing to note is only the corners have loops to tie to the dove. It hasn't been a problem for me and I probably wouldn't bother with any more than that anyway, but if your duvet has more ties than just the corners and you want to use them it won't work with this cover.

My husband is always warm and I'm always cold. We've been using this as a comforter and it's been perfect for us. We've been using it for all kinds of temperatures, and it's done well in all of them. The quality and color is nice. I love that it isn't too bulky for laundering.

Good light weight twin size comforter. I like the hunter green color, can use without a cover or with one. Has a brushed microfiber feel to it.

This blanket is very warm, soft and light enough to not feel weighed down. THe design keeps the padding inside in place so it stays fluffy and the color is a deep dark blue that doesnt show stains easily. This is a great blanket for everyone but especially children. Or those who eat in bed.

Why is bedding so hard to get perfect? We are still on the search for the perfect comforter. We got this impulsively one day when we got fed up with our expensive, heavy duvet. It's not bad. We actually ended up moving it to the guest room and taking that bed's comforter which we like better. It's a constant struggle with bedding so I'd say this is worth a shot!

Because, I imagine that a lot of people will be using this comforter without a duvet cover (even though the comforter is duvet cover ready and the simple attachment loops are well sewn through rather than onto the comforter), I thought I would use it without one initially just to see what the comforter would feel like without the extra insulation value of the cloth of the duvet cover or how soft the duvet cover might be. I am happy to report that this was a delicious experience!This comforter is light on you, it does not feel like a weighted blanket or something, it feels like it floats on you! I was concerned that the insulation would shift given the fairly large boxes, however, it feels like the insulation is in a kind of bating and sewn in place in the process of creating the boxes. This was particularly good because I did not experienced any cold spots and I could not find any places where the insulation was shifted. In the past, I have found that the thread in the middle boxes is not always as well sewn so I made a point to check and I am happy to report that I did not find a single loose thread! Being synthetic insulation one might expect the comforter might not be very breathable, however, I found it to be very breathable and I found that it managed moisture very well indeed.It is winter in Wyoming and there is hardly a better test of a comforter than a Wyoming winter. As the night cools and everyone's eyelids start to get heavy, there is nothing better than slipping between cool, crisp sheets and a warm and lightweight comforter that envelopes you in just the right amount of warmth, warm enough that you know you will sleep wonderfully yet not so warm that you cannot cuddle up with another person and feel the comfort of that special someone as the comforter warms you both up deliciously! To me, it feels like it could get quite a bit colder and this comforter would keep me comfortable and dry and that is a recipe for a great night's sleep under my Royale Linens comforter.This comforter is very easy to care for as it is machine washable, polyester inside --so not going to absorb tons of water--, and it can be thrown into a dryer. However, unless one has a twin sized one, a commercial washer and dryer --on low-- will be needed. Having said that, the tennis balls that one would need for a down filled comforter, for this size, that would be quite a few tennis balls, can stay home!
