RPM claims that their two-piece design makes front-end disassembly easier—and it's true! Having the ability take of just part of the front end is helpful, though not necessarily a game changer.Quality wise, this is tough and feels just as strong, if not stronger than the stock Traxxas part. I don't baby my RCs and run them mostly in loose dirt and gravel. It's taken a beating, but hasn't cracked, chipped or bent. (See photos.)There is one major flaw: as a previous reviewer noted, the sides which enclose the servo linkage area 'protecting' it from debris—actually causes rocks and pebbles to become lodged which jambs up the steering. At best, this is a nuisance, and at worst—it could break the servo, especially if a rock lodges in the linkage before the servo-saver!My solution was taking a hacksaw and cutting off the side pieces. (See photos.) These are not structural elements, and won't cause any weakness in the bulkhead. Rock and stuff now fall out, as opposed to constantly jamming up the works. Cutting large holes in the base might prevent this even more, but I haven't needed to do that yet.If all of this seems like a hassle, stick with the stock Traxxas Part.

Way better design over stock. Closes up the gaps in the stock one to block out dirt and rocks from getting into your bellcranks. Also, the 2 pieces design makes disassembly very easy. It goes together and apart just as easy as the back end of the car now. Pro tip, drill a small hole in the button to allow pass-through for a screwdriver for the servo horn.

This bulkhead feels like an obvious upgrade from stock. I feel like the bell cranks are better protected, it feels stronger and more durable, and it's MUCH easier to take the front end off with this two piece design than it is with stock.
