I used this to gingerly mount PEX to a strut bar on my crawlspace wall. It does the trick, insulating the pipe from any metal contact while still allowing a little movement.

I had idiot plumbers mix steel clamps with copper pipe. So after six months, I removed their clamps and installed these. They fit perfectly.
