Good quality, but rather stiff, and hard to cut. I wanted it for moccasin soles, and it was a bit too clunky. I liked the quality of the product and ordered a thinner weight.

Why didn’t I do this before?! So many shoes I could have saved.Easy, easy. Cut (1mm thickness) with household scissors. Attached with ‘Shoe-Fix Glue’. Like new!

Perfect for putting 1/2 sole on new leather shoes and leather sandals. I have been adding 2mm 1/2 soles to my leather shoes for over 20 years. My shoes last forever. Especially when my Colehanns. It is getting more different to find shoe repair shops that carry this sole sheeting. I now purchase my self and bring to shoe shop for applying to my leather shoes and sandals.

It was a great product for adding layer of sole to beat up pair of sperry boat shoes I love but wore a hole in. Just clean and apply contact cement no scuffing nessary. Seems to be a sturdy material and it's a large enough sheet I should be able to get a few more resoles out of it

Hammered on a half-sole of the 1mm sheeting on a pair of my Allen Edmond loafers. Sanded all surfaces and used double coats of contact cement and trimmed excess with razor knife. I also cut a small notch across the back edge of the sole to receive the edge of the rubber material to eliminate the edge "bump" on the sole (see YouTube videos to find out more). Went on well and I'm hoping to get many wearings of slip resistant and sole protection from the repair sheeting. Withholding one star since I don't have long term experience yet.Also used the 3.5mm heel top lifts on the same shoes with good results.
