Does exactly what it's supposed to, paddle isn't hard to clean if you stay on top of it. Looks like I should have waited a week or so for the price drop, ahh well.

Insane power and easy to control. Beat a drill all day long. Doesn’t struggle with self levelers or floor mud. Best mixer I’ve used in my 25 years of tiling.

Why did I wait so long to get to get this. It’s way better than a standard drill and exponentially easy than the shovel and wheel barrel method. Also the mortar is mixed really well and consistent throughout.

Got this for some tiling projects around the house. Has plenty of power.What it really needs is a trigger lock, and RPM settings. For the thinset we're using, we need 300 rpms for up to 10 mins. It's REALLY difficult to guesstimate and then maintain that low an RPM.

The Rubimix 9 mixer with the steering wheel handle grips and on/off controls in the handle is much easier to control as opposed to mixing with a 1/2-inch hammer drill. The Rubimix 9 can easily handle mixing a 50-pound bag of mortar in a 5-gallon bucket. I also find mixing mortar with the Rubimix 9 less fatiguing than doing the same job with a 1/2-inch hammer drill.

I have been using this mixer every day now for a couple of weeks and have to say this is a quality tool. I was wanting the "soft start" feature and this mixer has it. the paddle is well designed and there's plenty of power and speed. I'm mixing thinset and use the 1st speed setting and only use full speed when cleaning the paddle. The only negative thing I can think of is that the motor doesn't sound very smooth. I don't think its going to b a problem, but it's just kinda annoying. Rubi does include an extra set of brushes too so that should extend the life of the product also.
