Got this for my adventure Chi. He likes to go kayaking with us but he’s short haired and the water gets him cold quick. This will help him be able to swim and play with us longer! Full bred standard size Chihuahua weighs 10lb and 16” chest circumference with and xs on. The only thing I knocked a star off for is the bag is much too large and lifts high above his butt. Hoping when it gets wet it will stick to him better like a wetsuit. Other parts fit great and good material. I got mine for $40 but I wouldn’t spend anymore than that. The xs was on sale so I bit the bullet bros simple rash guard is hard to find in his size but also not neoprene or insulated. Hope this helps! Chocolate approves…kinda!

This year the water is cold and swift. I put this on him as it seems to keep him warmer. It fit under his life vest like a second skin. A little hard to get on when he’s excited but worth it

My dog gets cold & shivery in water very quickly. This is pricey, but does the job. Very well made. It needs to be tight, so it’s a little hard to zip & unzip with long hair

Bought two of these for my two GSD’s to do some fall swimming. Water temp in the pool is around 55.The dogs aren’t shivering so I think the suits are helping keep in some heat. These are the XL ones and the dogs are 90-95 pounds or so. Would recommend

It fits maybe 5 inches longer than Ruffwear’s life jacket. I use it on my dog to keep her warmer when she goes in alpine lakes like Tahoe. She doesn’t shiver when playing in the water if she’s wearing it. Sizing is accurate if you use Ruffwears girth measurement chart. Make sure you measure the widest part of your dogs chest.

This is a really nice coat; it is well made and provides some warmth. The front chest and leg area is great, snug around his body and the arm seals aren't too tight. However, the rear is a bit loose, allowing water inside. I should have looked for one with legs or straps to feed legs through, to keep it flat on his body. It is still warmer than not wearing anything and a good rash guard from his PFD.

Love this coat! My springer can even go in water, and still dry when jacket taken off! No more sticks and burrs to comb out either! The only downfall is the price…it is expensive! 1/3 the price in Alberta, but they don’t ship🙁 so great product, but overpriced!

Dogs love wearing this undercoat. Keeps them warm and extends their time in the lake. I’ve been browsing for something form fitting, especially for the chest. Wonderful under their life jackets and will be great under their winter puffer coats on those wet, wintry days.Would definitely recommend. Snug fit going on, but not too difficult. Chest measurements were accurate for these two Jack Russells- size xxs - perfect fit!
