Well built, priced fairly. And suitable for hiking or general lens protection when travelling

Nice bag but very big. You still need a pretty big bag for your 600 lens with extension and camera to fit in and this does the job. So thank you

A manufacturer of a bag that holds a large lens has to realize what that lens will be used for. Super long telephotos are used for one thing, 99% of the time: Wildlife photography. The bag is very inaccessible if you are in a hurry, and if you are trying to be quiet *remember, wildlife photography" because it has TONS of Velcro and cushions to be undone. By the time you get your camera and lens out of this pack, every bird and animal within is alerted and headed out of the area.Returning.

It is extremely large & bulky size for the Nikon z 600mm lens. I decided to return it without taking it out of its bag. The bag was in a box several times larger than the merchandise itself. It was unpleasant surprise to find out that the return has to be paid for by the customer and the lowest cost was about sixty six dollars to send it back to the shop which sold it through Amazon.

Got this for my z9 with a 300 f.28 constantly attached to it. I was lugging this lens and camera around with the original bag that comes with the lens, but it was getting awkward since that one is more of a holster type bag. I swear that this bag makes it feel like I'm not carrying anything in it. I have to check to make sure that the camera is in it sometimes it feels so light and comfortable. If anyone wants to give me the 600mm I'd gladly see what that one feels like in this bag.Great bag for the price.

This is a well constructed bag at half the cost of the competition with roughly equal build quality. I found that the Lowpro 600 could only fit my Minolta 600mm f4 without the body attached, so I returned it. Not only can the Ruggard can snuggly fit my 600mm f4 with its 155mm front element, but perhaps more impressive is it can also fit my rare Sigma 1000mm f8 without body. A lens for which I have never been able to find a backpack large enough. Heavy metal cases will be a thing of the past. If you are looking for a backpack to hold your large glass, this should bag should definitely be a consideration.

I like this bag a lot as I find more storage space than my Lowepro Lens Trekker 600 AW II. The carrying straps and materials are better on the Lowepro but not that much significant and the price of the Ruggard Alpine is half as much. Great value for the money.
