Fits great, looks good but just too pricey considering what it is and makes an already expensive bumper even more expensive

The fitment is horrible on a 2018 JL. You'll have to modify.

We will have to cut off pieces of it to make it fit correctly

If I had know what shape to make this when I started, I could have gotten the job done in one afternoon. As it stood, it took two entire days of my vacation to whittle and carve this thing until it finally fit. I was installing it onto a Rugged Ridge full with HD front bumper with factory LED fog lights, on a '21 JL.I had to remove material from the two notches just to either side of center. I had to remove a very large amount of material to get it to clear the fog lights. I might have removed an additional 2" from the bottom of the fog light cutouts. It was a lot of grinding, and a lot of test fitting. I became adept at crawling under the Jeep and test fitting the plate. In the end, I was able to use all of the original factory hardware to bolt the thing up, and it looks good, and offers good protection for the FAD, steering stabilizer, sway bar, etc. While it was a gigantic pain in the patoot to get bolted up, I feel like it really was worth it in the long run. It looks good, and it ain't going anywhere.
