This seat is very uncomfortable the sides dig into my bottom and it sits very high up I hit my jeep speakers with my head. I have the regular rugged ridge seat that doesn’t recline and it’s pretty good but this for 350 is a joke cheap Chinese junk! I wish I could get my money back and buy the regular version

Amazon said it was in stock and i would have it in 3 days. One month later it arrived. The foam in this seat is rock hard. Imagine sitting on a piece of plywood having a 2x4 at each edge for bolstering. There are some other reviews commenting about this and I can contest they were not lying. Most of the original hardware snapped off on removal. It would have been nice if they just supplied new bolts for installation or at least informed you the thread size (FYI 8M 1.25).Yes they recline! But it isn't a nice lever and spring. Prepare for carpel tunnel syndrome in your wrist as you turn the knob a hundred times to get the chair in the position of your liking. On the upside you won't have to worry about your children playing with these seats and breaking them as the hard to rotate slow moving mechanism will unlikely hold their attention span long enough for that to happen. I had to remove the inside reclining knob of each chair, cut the tubing and put a trailer pin in in order for the seats to fit as there was not enough room against the centre console.I may end up removing the seats to cut out some of the side bolstering and replace it with softer foam if the foam doesn't relax as I am not a 12 year old girl and my butt does not fit in this seat as is. My seats were older and sat much lower than the new seats. If you drive a yj with the roof on you may find you will have clearance issues with the roof. Also... these are not a high back seat with a head rest built in. Expect it to come to the top of your shoulders and get whiplash in the case of an accident. The seats do look really nice!! I'm not sure about longevity but out of the box they look and feel amazing!!I give one star for the product because even though it was late by 1 month it did get to the post office in my town (I had to go there and get it) and 1 star for it's awesome appearance. It looses 3 stars for being advertised as an adult car seat when it should be advertised as a seat to be installed in a kids go-kart.

This seat foam is very hard and had no give . Although it looks great my butt would not fit and held me above seat bottom. Had other people sit in it with same conclusion . Would not recommend .

Seat arrived on-time, undamaged, not quite the color depicted, however doing color choice on computer is not very accurate in the best of circumstances.Seats installed without issue, though the inside tilt adjusted interferes with seatbelt strapped to Tuffy secure center console, making rear seat access a pain. Also cushions are taller, interfering with A/C vents, also limiting tilting when access rear area.BIGGEST ISSUE,These seats are horribly uncomfortably. They have very firm cushion with sculpted edging on both seat bottom and backrest. The sculpting is on seat bottom is abrupt height change runs down the middle of my leg. Since the foam does not collapse, even short duration drives are uncomfortable. The seat backs also have comforming edges, however the comformance is narrow than my rib cage and back, so it digs into me as well. The foam is so stiff, I doubt it will relax and thus never be comfortable. If you have a relatively small body frame, these seats may be OK and comfortable, if you have a large body frame, I would steer clear.Sigh.

I ordered two of these seats for my boyfriend's 1993 Jeep YJ. They are a direct bolt in replacement for the stock seats. No modifications were needed, it simply reused the factory hardware. The seats are quite firm, but comfortable. The bolsters are more pronounced than they appear in the images. My boyfriend is 5'11" 175 Lbs. and he says that if he was much bigger the seats would be uncomfortable, because of the height of the bolsters. Some of the stitching seems a little stretched out (see attached picture). Overall though we are both very happy with the seats!

These are called 'factory replacement seats', but the quality is nominal and they are smaller than factory seats. They are not made to fit even moderate sized Americans. They sit lower and are narrow, even for my 33 X 32 Levis wearing butt. They do not and will never tilt. You have to have the riser in a tilted position to install them or you cannot get to the rear bolts. Scoot them all the way forward and find the former tilt lever under the riser. These are not deserving of the Rugged Ridge name. Pay a little more and get something better. The Amazon description says they will bolt directly into a TJ, but they require an adaptor. That claim is why I bought them. I should have sent them back, but I will deal with them for awhile.

Nothing special. Build quality looks good but hard to know without extended use how durable they are. One thing to note is that the seat bottom is significantly shorter than the OEM seat. This means that if you are taller like me (6'2") the seat ends about mid thigh. It feels a bit awkward at first and I'm sure it wouldn't be comfortable on a long trip. And, as another reviewer said the seat sit higher than OEM which only worsens the pressure on the back of the thighs. Also, the seat back adjusters stick out so far that they actually rub against the roll bar and the console. All in all I wish I had spent the extra 150 per seat for a better seat but for the price it was not much worse than I expected.

Have a cherry 83' CJ-7. New engine, Mopar fuel injection system and have it raised way up off the ground with 33.5 tires. I take it all over Amador, El Dorado and Alpine Counties in northern CA.The seats wear out about every 3 years. Sun, weather, rain and just heavy wear. Nice to be able to grab an inexpensive and quality seat from Rugged Ridge.Great product!

Fits great in the 91 jeep yj i installed them in. comfortable and easy to clean. at first the seat felt a bit narrow but it had relaxed some and is very comfortable. these seats fit much tighter than the factory and it does not help that i have a larger center console installed. the only drawback is that it makes it a little bit more of a hassle to tip the seat up
