honestly, the product reviews are pretty negative and now i understand why. i needed a corkscrew retainer that wasn’t going to fall out easily, like studs or an L-bar.once you can manage to get this retainer in your nose, it’s not going anywhere. BUT because of this, because the space between the retainer head and the corkscrew is so short it rubbed my piercing raw. it’s so painful.after two days of having it in, i can’t stand having it anymore. it’s hurts SO BAD.genuinely, this product has so much potential. BUT it needs to be crafted better and made much longer. i have a pretty thin nose so i can’t imagine someone with thicker nostrils even trying to get this retainer in their nose.

It was a little difficult to put one in at first. They stay put as needed. Especially when having to blow your nose.

These are wonderful and long lasting, however, I have to trim the sharp point and give it a little filing to avoid scraping the inside of my nose. Also, because it’s so flimsy, I suggest pulling with tweezers from inside your nostril to get it to sit right

I usually love this brand, but the L shaped ones leave my nose sore for a few days, and usually i’m really good with these screw type piercings. but i literally could not push the bend in. I had to throw out three because every time i attempted to push the bend in, the post would bend and it’s like rendered useless. i have never had an issue with the l shaped ones but this one literally would not go into my nose after 45 minutes of trying

The bend at start the corkscrew isn't rounded it's a sharp angle so it may hurt going in if it will at all. It stopped going inside halfway through. I pierced my own ear (so I’m okay with some pain) and still ended up having to use a small nail clipper to trim the angle down to a softer curve in order to get it through all the way without pain. I'm going to have to do this to all of them sadly. But they were the cheapest option, it's good material, and it was an easy fix.It may be a good idea to maybe go down a size If the store offers it. (If you're at 18G go with 20G and so on.) Nose piercings are easy to stretch/shrink so no worries there.

These are literally trash. I bought these on a rush because I broke my leg and couldn't have my metal piercing in for surgery. My surgery is tomorrow and these arrived today. Looked good on first glance. Tried to put one in this evening to prepare for an early day tomorrow, and they WILL NOT go in. They bend and twist and I can't force them through. The corner "turn" is sharp. I have tried several from the bag hoping for a different outcome. The only thing I have is a super sore nose with a nostril screw halfway in, because I literally HAVE to use them for tomorrow.
