Decent vest, but the folded flap over the pocket doesn't really help for the Ren Fest vibe. The look and feel though is good, so if you enjoy the appearance of it, it's definitely a sturdy and well made vest.

Wow just wow ! I ordered the black 18th century vest and am thoroughly impressed ! Much better quality than expected. A reviewer mentioned the buttons were kind of cheap… No way ! Though they are not brass they look it and they are solid. Vest looks like wool, fits great as well. I have many period items made with “ real” fabrics ( wool, cotton and leather) and this will fit right in with them. Purists may scoff at it, but you know what I will look far better than most of them in this ! Cheers !
