Quality fishing line that has its own container for storage. Nice and clear. Very strong at 15lb with great action. Easy to make knots with no issues. Plenty to wrap 2 reels.

I have a couple small spinning reels ( generally called a "1000 Series" loaded on medium action spinning rods. This line is perfect for that. I am using 8# test to fish with plugs and small plastic worms for largemouth bass and it is working well. The line casts well with no spool memory (no coils in the line). I like how knots hold tight as well. The clear color is greaqt for a variety of different water conditions.

Replaced my old line with this Fluorocarbon Clear Fishing Line. Recently took up fishing again. I'm not sure what kind of line was on my pole because way back when I did not know there was a significant difference in lines. This fluorocarbon line is extremely lightweight and does sink faster than my old line. I purchased the 8 lb because I am fishing for small & large mouth bass. The first time back on the river I was catching smallmouth. This line does seem more sensitive than the old line. I was feeling every hit from the fish it seems. Reasonably priced versus the local tackle shop which wanted $5 more for the same line.

I usually use 30lb fluorocarbon for leaders for fishing inshore salt water in the southeast --specifically trik fish. I like that you get a lot more on a spool with this Runcl spool, but it doesn't save any money. Compared diameter with my trik fish spool and it's similar. I'm sure it'll do well, but I kinda prefer the open spool just because of the way my tackle storage is arranged. Honestly I think it comes down to how much you need and what kind of spool you want over brand.

I fish regularly and frequently in the Gulf of America. For the last eleven years, I have used fluorocarbon leaders exclusively. Fluorocarbon has the same index of refraction as water, so it becomes invisible in the water, which of course is desirable--especially when the fish are not actively feeding or are somewhat skittish. So far as I know or have been able to find out, all 100% fluorocarbon is the same. If it's 100%, then there is nothing to distinguish one brand from another. To me, therefore, the distinguishing characteristic is simply the price. This Runcl fluorocarbon leader material is a bit less costly, per foot, than most other brands, and it's therefore what I use. I can't assert that it's better than more-expensive brands, but I'm pretty sure it's just as good.

I'm coming from braded line. this has some stretch that I'm not used to. Its super thin and great for clear water. it is indeed 10lbs test. vanishes in water. good for the price.

No complaints on this RUNCL 100% Pure Fluorocarbon Fishing Line. Surprising comes in a small compact roll which I appreciate for portability. Perfect fluoro leader line for rigs, especially when the fish are finicky and line sight shy. Would highly recommend to fellow fishermen.

Fluorocarbon line is great line for fishing because it is invisible in the water, abrasion resistant, has low stretch for better hook sets, sinks slowly, has increased sensitivity, and good knot strength. Thus if you are using floating presentations, use monofilament or braided lines that float. The thickness of this 10# test line is 0.010”, the same thickness as other name brand fishing lines. Typically I use a long fluorocarbon leader with braid tied together using a double uni knot. The pricing of this product is good, but name brand lines on sale may match this offer. The following is the most important tip if using braid with a fluorocarbon leader.. Always use either a heavy monofilament backing on the spool (preferred and cheap) and then tie to the braid with a double uni knot, or tape the braid securely to the spool directly using electrical tape. I lost a big fish because I didn’t do this, and my entire spool of braid rotated freely around the spool not allowing me to reel up the monster. This happens frequently when braid is attached directly to the spool without reinforced attachment to the spool. This is your tip of the day!
