Never ever would I think I would turn into the person who needs a teapot cover (I will NOT call it a tea cozy...I am not that old yet or Mrs. Potts!). But alas, I needed one. I have tea every night and making it by the cup was getting tedious so I finally decided to start using my tea pot. Unfortunately, tea pots do not keep tea hot, let alone warm. So I decided to look for a cover to keep it warm. I cannot believe how insanely expensive they have become!! $10+ for them depending on the brand and make. That's just ludicrous to me. It's a glorified pot holder and shouldn't cost more than $5!! But that's my brain and the fact that I do not and cannot wrap my head around how high prices of everything are , including things that used to cost a couple of dollars in the past and now are out of control.I digress, back to the product review... this is a nice cover, it's well made, it's thick enough to keep the tea in the pot warm a while, and it's a good size that it covers my tea pot which holds about 5-6 cups. And while I think charging $9.99 is too much (and why the 4 stars) it is easier than making one myself. So it'll be Christmas year round....at least it's celebratory!! LOL Recommend!
