This 5-light kitchen light fixtures has a detachable plug in cord with a length of 11.5ft. There is a push button switch (ON/OFF) on the cord. Fit was a little off when assembling as it came apart in a box. Sockets are very cheap. Switch does get warm. I re wired new sockets as one broke as soon as I installed the bulb. All in all I bought it for an area that did not have a ceiling fixture and used the plug. I’d buy a better quality one next time.

It’s pretty good. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because I received it dammaged TWICE and had to return it (the hassle of returning it was pretty annoying). Also, the cable is not 14ft like said in the description, but only 11,5ft.The wood frame gets marks very easily, so you have to be carefull when hammering it together. Because yes, you have to use an hammer to assemble the wood pieces together (a rubber mallet and a sheet did the trick for me).I was worried about the ceiling installation because one of the comment said it was hard to understand. If you have a bit of commun sens and if you installed a light before it is pretty easy to understand. I did not need the instructions to assemble it and fixing it to the ceiling. And I am not a handy person. It took, my husband and I, less than 2 hours, to assemble and install it.My ceiling has an angle and it was very easy to put the light straight by adjusting the chain. We had to lowered the part that screws on the ceiling because the screws provided to attach the base were not long enough, but it still works just fine. We also changed for longer and thicker screws for the ceiling because the one provided didn’t feel sturdy enough (but nothing out of the ordinary with furniture ordered online).I like this light because it is the only one I found with a long cable to plug it in a sucket and with enough light for my dinning room. Most lights with a cable have more of an ambiance light while I wanted a more powerfull light.So overall, it’s a good product.

I needed a much brighter light, and this did the trick. It's in a room that does not have hard wire so the plug feature was perfect.

Just had my second one stop working. Replaced the first thinking it was just a fluke. This one the switch got burning hot so we unplugged it. Will not turn on now. Probably for the best. Burning hot seems like a fire hazard to me

Showed up broken as shown in the photo. Also after putting it together found out the metal bar that holds the lights is at least 1/8" too long for the wooden frame. No matter how much you try to pry it in, it won't fit. I debated grinding it down to fit or cutting the wood out a little but then the screws wouldn't be in the right place. Ended up returning it

We like the finished project, but installing this light was challenging because the instructions to hang the mounting plate are vague and hard to figure out. If you are not the handy type (thankfully my husband is), I think this may be too difficult. Otherwise, we are pleased with our purchase.

Easy to put together. Can be installed with the cord to the wall or without. We had wires in place so we connected it where our old chandelier was. 🥰
