Uses far less power than a comparable portable "cooler" style 12v refrigerator. I like it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a compact fridge/freezer for mobile use. Your batteries will thank you!

This fridge is nice, I put 5 packs of meat like sausage and steaks for my 3 days camping. I also can put my favorite ice cream cone. It makes me happy because no need to worry about the ice get melt when I use in the cooler. The size is just right and I like it very much and I can adjust the temperature!!!

Product is to big to go under an RV style couch. To small to hold much and does not stay cool. Not able to leave anything in it as you never know when it will not cool. Buy something else with your money.

I wanted an outside refrigerator for our Motorhome and this little beauty filled the want. It fit perfectly in the narrow door and storage area. It keeps my beer and sodas at a constant 33 degrees. This temp can be adjusted. Very nice unit!!

Unable to store 90days worth of meds in the fridge, I had to start looking for a better solution. The old dorm room fridges seemed like a good choice but my cheap model put noise on the speakers in the AV-room. My first thought was a small sexy wine cooler but could only find one vendor with temps low enough for my needs. I always thought fridge drawers, like dishwasher drawers were over priced until I found this unit. Not only does this fridge drawer use a DC compressor (way less power than AC) it's much quieter in the room and on the AV room power lines. I evaluated the unit set on a coffee table and the temp range from on to off to on to off had a 8F degree swing - a little disappointing ! Once installed, the temp swing settled in with 4F to 5F. The power cycle seems consistent around 55mins on the warm up "not running dead quiet" and 35mins on the cool down phase of the cycle. I'm monitoring with an "Ambient Weather" temp sensor tossed in the drawer. Also monitored power use during preliminary evaluation with "EmporiaEnergy". Power usage is around 30 watts with old school math showing 1/3 KWH per 24hour day. With my APC UPS1350VA battery backup, I'm guessing to have 24 hours of coverage with a power outage.Sorry to take you on a long trip but it might help with your own questions, things to consider and if this type of solution is right for you. Here are some unknowns that get answered once you open the box: The depth of the unit seems iffy from vendor support statements and pdf spec sheets. Its 29 inches. BUT WAIT... The power connector is on the back and bumps out. Lets call that another inch. My unit included a AC wall power brick that connects to the 12 volt receptacle on the rear. The power plug could be a danger if someone tried to connect it directly to AC since it has a familiar AC connection look. The Temp display is extremely bright. I covered it with transparent tape and marked over it with a sharpy ( color your choice ). I used purple. The drawer seal is as others describe; improvement is needed. My unit seems to pass the paper test at the top but on the bottom the gap increases. I would assume this is because the drawer needs to have a little bit of a incline to promote auto closure ?? I'm thinking some foam or rubber weather seal stripping might help out. Installing it as a second seal on the outside parameter from the original seal. I readjusted the bottom latch-catch for a tighter fit but too tight prevents the catch and maybe too much pressure on a plastic part. Backed it back off. BTW the catch-latch mount from the underside of the unit so add a little more height on your build enclosure should you elect to remove the rubber bumper feet. The unit has four little screwed on feet ( the rubber bumper type ). That can impact your installation measurements (another unknown surprise). The front interface console is connected to the back inside of the drawer with a umbilical cord. This limits complete removal of the drawer for cleaning etc.Wanting a sexy-blue light-see through wine cooler unit, I think this unit was a better choice for my needs. The unit seems built well enough for my weekly visit to the supply cabinet. YMMV.

Just received the portable refrigerator and decided to take it to my first camping trip with my son. I have large trunk space and the fridge did not take up much space and the shape looks cool. The product came with the necessary cord and easy to plug in and use. What I’m most satisfied is that I’m able to pack all my ingredient for breakfast, lunch and dinner for the couple days for the trip. I strongly recommend for people who likes camping, take road trip.
