I got this for a little piece of mind. It seems to work great. Easy to install. I’m not very handy so I purchased something instead of making it myself. For the money it’s worth it unless you can make your own which is probably super easy to do by drilling holes into your existing one and locking it up that way. I just don’t have the time.

I wanted a anti-theft system for my RV dual propane tanks that wasn't overpriced. This system is strong enough and easy to install on my 1/2" diameter post. I had an old electronic motorcycle lock that fit the holes so I used it. This is actually a great system since an ear piercing alarm will sound off if anyone touches the anti-theft system. Recommended!

Easily installed, and effective, at least to move people on to the next set of tanks to steal. Quicker and far easier to lock than drilling the hardware that came with the trailer. I'll buy one for my next trailer, too.

Works well enough but could not fit a standard master lock pad lock. Had to drill the hole larger but works great now.
