I wasn’t clear as to how these units worked but you simply “screw” each rod to a little more than the width of your frig and then push the units in which compresses the built-in tension spring. The rubber caps provide friction to prevent frig contents from moving out of their desired position.

The plastic does not stay holding the two rods together. Slips off very easily.

They fit good in my RV refrigerator. Haven't traveled with them in yet, but I am hoping they keep things from falling out of it when i open it after traveling.

I have these in my fridge in my rv. My fridge kept opening while driving. I used these and it keeps everything back from falling out. They were a life saver. They were also easy to install.

Got this for our used RV and there were no shelves in the freezer so I got these to keep food in place. Really easy to install and seems to be secure. Has good stability and seem to be durable enough to keep in place and they function pretty well. I wish there were some made like this to keep dishes secure-there maybe but have found anything long enough yet.

These could be a little longer for my use, but they fit, and don't seem to have quite the tension I need at the length I'm using them.But they do hold stuff in place during transport, so I guess I can't complain.Work well enough for me. I'll keep them.

I bought these last December when they were on sale. Used them for the first time this last weekend. Not enough spring in the bar to hold them in place. They just fall out. Too late to return. Should have checked them out more thoroughly when they arrived.

These work wonderfully in my RV fridge. The clip that holds the two rods together could be a little sturdier but they work just fine.
